The only thing worse than having to sleep in your husband’s childhood bed when staying at your in-laws during the holidays is trying to find them a gift. IDK if it’s just the fact that we grew up in very different households or they’re just that hard to shop for, but it always feels like a struggle to find a great gift for my in-laws they don’t already have. I mean, I get it! We’re adults! We buy our own things! But there’s no worse feeling than when you have a great gift idea in mind and you find out the next day they already bought it for themselves (*sigh*).
Luckily, I’ve been with my husband long enough to sneak a few winners through the years. I’m not saying that I’m daughter-in-law of the year, but I’m pretty damn close to it. And after all, it’s the season of giving so I guess I’ll share a few with you too. From fun tech finds to (not-so-expensive) luxe jewelry, I’m sure at least one thing on this list will be a hit with your in laws, s/o’s parents, or heck, even your own parents…And hey, if not, there’s always chocolate.
