If you had told me years ago that I would enjoy a season of Love Island USA more than the UK version, I would have cackled you out of Casa Amor. But the unthinkable happened: These Americans managed to beat the Brits… again, and without Hamilton’s catchy tunes. The last season was full of drama, outrage, miscommunication, handshakes, and more. We had villains, heroes, and JUST PLAIN MEN.
We’re just about ready to dive back into the villa for Love Island USA Season 7, but honestly? My heart is still stuck in the chaos and chemistry of Season 6. It was a record-breaking ride, packed with shameless flanter, matching outfits, and one Casa Amor bombshell after another. But before I can move on, I need to know: What happened to our Barbie-and-Ken-coded couples from Season 6? Did they make it work IRL? Did any of them make it past their first airport layover??
Which Love Island season 6 couples are still together?
Serena Page and Kordell Beckham

Let’s start with our winners! Serena and Kordell (yes, that Beckham — Odell Beckham Jr.’s brother, not David’s son) didn’t start strong, but once they clicked, they clicked. Serena was vocal about being open to short kings — queen behavior — and after a few detours, these two found their way to each other.
From matching outfits to matching vibes, they stayed solid even through the post-Casa Amor drama. Kordell briefly explored a connection with bombshell Daia McGee but came back to Serena by Day 24 — and never looked back.
After winning Season 6, they headed back to Houston and eventually both relocated to Los Angeles. The couple regularly shares updates with fans, and in a People interview, Serena even hinted at a wedding, pointing to her ring finger and saying she hopes to be engaged soon. 👀
“Being able to enjoy ourselves without the cameras is good. I love it,” Kordell told Blavity. “We show some of the things we do together, and then we have our moments in private… I’m just glad I went on the show and met her.”
Aww.
JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez

Ah, the classic islander-meets-bombshell love story. JaNa and Kenny gave us a full-on rom-com with hilarious conversations, cute tension, and one absolutely iconic speech.
JaNa was a day one girlie, briefly linked to Coye, Connor, and Hakeem. Fun fact: Connor Newsum was seen on a date with VPR’s Katie Mahoney??? I love a crossover! Maybe host Ariana introduced them. Okay, no more tangents, so on the first public vote, JaNa and Hakeem were among the least-voted couples, and faced elimination from the villa. Ruh roh! Hakeem was dumped while JaNa was saved by the other women (girlies!!!!), meaning that she remained in the villa as a single [and ready to mingle] Islander. Kenny arrived two days later, and they hit it off. Unfortunately Kenny found himself a new girlie, Catherine, in Casa Amor while JaNa decided to be faithful. But they worked through it and eventually decided to be exclusive.
JaNa delivered her final speech entirely in Spanish, which blew Kenny away. “My jaw dropped,” he said. “None of the other couples speak it — she was just speaking to me from the heart.”
Post-villa, they’ve been thriving. They made a joint appearance on the 2025 American Music Awards red carpet (okay, slay) and even took a trip to Japan together — a plan they talked about on the show. Kenny shared photos from their travels on Instagram, and he’s even met JaNa’s mom over FaceTime. So yeah… they’re in it.
Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi

Miguel arrived nine days in, and he caught Leah’s attention right away. The couple ended up finishing second in the finale, which is pretty impressive for a bombshell couple. They ditched their current partners for each other, and Miguel later did the same for Casa Amor girlie Sierra, not knowing that Leah had stayed true. They worked through it and coupled up again. Idk I still need time to forgive.
Miguel was one of those people who went on Love Island with “zero expectations” and was hella surprised to form a bond with someone. Lol, okay. They were the only finalists who didn’t officially lock things down in the villa but still came in second.
The only major obstacle? Distance. Leah lives in California, while Miguel is based in London (Lun-dun if you’re nasty). Despite that, they’re very much still together — posting loved-up selfies, including one captioned “My heart right beside me.” BRB crying. In an interview with People, Leah revealed Miguel was in the process of moving to LA.
Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky

A day one boy and a day six bombshell, Nicole and Kendall were strong throughout the season. Nicole entered the villa as a bombshell, and Kendall dumped his original match, Hannah Smith, to pursue her. Despite a minor hiccup (ahem—Kendall kissed another bombshell, Miguel, during Casa Amor), they powered through and made it to the finale. What about that awkward moment in the finale when Kendall said, “I love you,” and she hesitated? Apparently, there are no hard feelings, which is fab, and I totally wouldn’t have skipped the country and started a new life for myself in Australia, totally!! (g’day mate)
But what about once they left paradise, aka the villa, and re-entered society? Nicole and Kendall were the only final four couples that couldn’t make the real world work. They were one of the few couples to survive Casa Amor unscathed, yet it unraveled fast post-villa. Rumors (allegedly involving cheating, explicit videos, and shady DMs) swirled online, and the tension was palpable during the August reunion.
The day after the reunion aired, the couple announced their breakup on Instagram. Nicole revealed that Kendall ended things, while Kendall told fans that the relationship had become “unhealthy.” Yikes.
Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans
Okay, don’t come for me but I very briefly rooted for this couple!! I think we all did. They started up literally MINUTES into the premiere, it was giving closing time at a bar. The two joined the others in an icebreaker challenge and later coupled up that night, making them one of the first couples of the season. But first isn’t always best, such as first to finish!! And boy, did he blow his load quickly.
While they tried things in the real world — even though her mom hella shaded him on Facebook — Aaron and Kaylor were the first Love Island USA season 6 duo to split. The two were eliminated on the finale dumping date before the season finale. You might recognize him from The Traitors UK season 1 — he won!! And Kaylor? Well, Pennsylvanian girlies all kinda look the same — I’M KIDDING.
The breakup came after an explosive fight where Kaylor found out Aaron did more than just sleep near Daniela Ortiz-Rivera during Casa Amor — he kissed her and shared a bed. When Kaylor learned the full story, she called the summer a “waste.”
She later confirmed their split via TikTok because how else do we announce breakups in 2025?
Kassy Castillo and Rob Rausch
Now onto those who didn’t make it to the finale… starting with Sassy Kassy and Round Two Rob!! So previously a bombshell on season 5, Rob was back to try again after his embarrassing 5-day stint. And boy, did he try, having short-lived couplings with Leah, Liv, Andrea, and Cassidy. He also briefly paired with Daniela (ruh roh incoming), before fellow season 5 girlie Kassy came in to finish their previous chemistry. They spent three days together before being eliminated in sixth place.
And no, they’re not still together IRL. In fact, Kassy is done dating men altogether. In a TikTok, she confirmed that she’s queer and exploring that part of her identity now. Love to see it.
So… what’s next?
If you’re still deeply parasocially invested (same), you’re in luck. Love Island: Beyond the Villa premieres this summer on Peacock, following several of your faves in Los Angeles as they navigate life post-villa.
Confirmed cast: Serena Page, JaNa Craig, Kenny Rodriguez, Leah Kateb, Miguel Harichi, Kaylor Martin, Aaron Evans, Olivia Walker, Kendall Washington, and Connor Newsum. Kordell Beckham isn’t listed as a main cast member, but insiders say he’ll make guest appearances. You know we’ll be watching.
