They say money can’t buy you happiness, but as Ariana Grande once belted, happiness is the same price as red bottoms. Or in the case of Heather Dubrow, the price of another multi-bedroom mansion. As she bravely opened up about during The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 premiere, Heather and Terry Dubrow sold their Crystal Cove house (the one that us poors would refer to as a literal hotel) for 55 million US buckaroos. That’s only 5 million under the lowest reported GDP of a small country. Cool, cool, cool. Watching boomers like Heather and Terry toss out ridiculous numbers to their various contractors and landscapers would be unbecoming behavior under any other circumstance than when I’m watching my daily Bravo stories. When it comes to Housewives, you need to be funny, beautiful, or rich, and ideally all three. It seems like Heather is willing to sign the deed to a new property every year if it gets her an invitation back, and honestly, I’m not even mad at it. With Jen Pedranti getting evicted and Gina and Travis breaking up to save a buck, we need some balance. Does Heather Dubrow even live in Orange County anymore? I present to you some expert-level pocket-watching: here are all the details on all of Heather Dubrow’s homes.
Where does Heather Dubrow Live?
Heather Dubrow’s Beverly Hills Mansion
The Dubrows used the money from their Crystal Cove sale to snag a real steal in the form of a 16 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion that was originally up for sale in the “low 40s.” To be fair the running cost of the house is currently closer to 32 million, since “taking down to the studs” has come with 15 million dollars in renovations thus far including landscaping, the movie theatre, and a guest house. The reason that Heather and Terry were in the market for an additional “family home” in the first place was that the Los Angeles penthouse they bought in 2022 (and are still holding onto) was simply too small for the whole Dubrow ensemble (they have four kids, Max, Katarina, Nick, and Ace, two of which are now in college). It doesn’t hurt that Cary Grant allegedly once tapdanced in the very halls Heather will now sip on champagne in (shortening the beautiful word for French delicacy is one of Heather’s most heinous crimes). Some might argue that their new Beverly Hills family home is actually more of a families home because of the ridiculous amount of space, but those people would just be bitter that rent is once again dangerously close to being due (moi).
How much does it cost to rent at The Balboa Bay Club in OC?
A better argument raised by the Dubrow’s latest project is why Heather still gets to be on RHOC considering her main residence is in the 90210. Not to worry, the HD has that angle covered, too. On the first episode of season 18, the Dubrows share that they “took” a temporary place at The Balboa Bay Club (I think that’s rich people for renting), which is a five-star resort with long-term residences that can run you as much as $17k a month. Heather’s reasoning is that Terry can be closer to his OC practice on longer days and they have a place to crash when they visit his mother. Wanting a separate place to stay rather than cohabitate with her in-laws is low-key the most relatable Heather has ever been.
