Why do men? A question women have been asking since the dawn of time. It turns out that whether they’re 27 or 72, men are gonna be trash. Or at least that’s the consensus after watching The Golden Bachelor’s inaugural season finale Thursday night.
Yes, it’s true. The golden grandaddy Gerry Turner not only broke the hearts of the women on the show but everyone watching at home when he decided to choose Theresa over Leslie, the crowd favorite.
Despite his controversial choice in fiancé, the Twitter mob is after him for many other reasons. From leading Leslie on by telling her she was “the one” only to dump her 24 hours later to Gerry’s wholesome character being a bubble popped by The Hollywood Reporter. It turns out Mr. Turner isn’t the sweet old man from Indiana like everyone originally thought.
Good thing I only have loyalty to trash reality TV and will be sat for the ABC wedding special on January 4. Like Marie Kondo once said, I love mess. Especially when that mess gives me hours of tweets to hate scroll in bed.
