Another day, another food-inspired beauty trend. I know, I know—you probably rolled your eyes at that statement alone. But, what’s a girl to do when the internet just won’t stop making sh!t up? Today’s trending look is ‘cinnamon spice girl’ makeup. WTF does that mean? Think toasty, reddish cheeks that stray away from traditional pink and coral-hued blush palettes.
It makes sense though. As autumn creeps up on us, darker shades seemingly take over our wardrobes, and now our vanities. TikToker Rachel Rigler first debuted the trend in late August and other beauty creators have been quick to follow suit. The good thing about this one is that you can keep majority of your makeup look the same as your everyday routine, with the exception of your cheeks. That’s where the rusty, almost-red blush comes into play. And, you can add some of the tint to your nose and around your lips too. Don’t get intimidated when you see a darker blush on your face—it’s amazing what a little blending can do. So, here’s to cinnamon girl makeup, I guess!
