Netflix Star And 'Sneaky Links' Host Chloe Veitch Shares Hot Take On Casual Sex (EXCLUSIVE)

I’m convinced we’re living in the best timeline, which means we get to live through Beyoncé, the death and resurrection of TikTok, and an era of dating that includes numerous very loosey-goosey modern-day entanglements, one of which the dating pool charmingly refers to as sneaky linking. Right on cue, Netflix has made art imitate life by trapping a bunch of sexy singles in a make-believe motel to confront their dating PTSD on Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark. The new reality TV series is hosted by Chloe Veitch, whom fans will know well for bringing her British charm and trademark blowout to Netflix’s holy trinity of reality shows: Too Hot to Handle, The Circle, and Perfect Match. While Chloe most recently appeared on Paramount+’s Celebrity Ex on the Beach, the cheeky lovergirl has upgraded from contestant to become a de facto sneaky link guru in the process.

“Oh my God, I never thought that the 19-year-old Chloe that was on Too Hot To Handle would ever be a host. It’s what I’ve always dreamed of,” Chloe tells Betches of her pursuit to follow in Maya Jama’s footsteps. Yet at the Sneaky Links Motel, Chloe is the keeper of the keys, playing funny fairy godmother to well-meaning but sometimes bad-behaving singles, who do things like beg for “just the tip” (“I was genuinely shocked,” Chloe says of her reaction to Brandon’s viral moment).  So, I had to speak to the fan favorite, fresh off the Dating After Dark front lines, for advice on how to successfully sneaky link and what’s next for her.

Is It Okay To Have A Sneaky Link?

The new show begs the question: Can having a sneaky link ever be chill? When I ask Chloe her stance, she stands ten toes down. “One thing I always stand by, whether it’s a sneaky link or not…it’s okay to just have casual sex.” But she does add one caveat: “I think it’s really important to have your own boundaries established because there’s been multiple times that I have seen on Sneaky Links boundaries be pushed, and it ends in tears and tantrums.” Chloe thinks it’s important to enjoy yourself but also keep yourself honest along the way: “Would I be hurt if he was to sleep with someone else?” and “Do I really want to be a sneaky link anymore?” are questions Chloe and relationship expert Spicy Mari helped the cast consider.

When Should You Be Worried About Your Partner’s “Just A Friend”?

On Sneaky Links, an ongoing topic for debate was whether or not people who could be sexually attracted to each other can ever keep it 100% platonic. When I ask Chloe when she thinks it’s time to start side-eyeing the girl he told you not to worry about, Chloe shares these go-to words of wisdom: “If the dog starts to bark and it starts to go cold, and it stops eating its food, it’s being fed somewhere else.” Translation, when it comes to relationships, 1 + 1 = 2.  If your partner suddenly starts switching up and spending more time with their “friend,” maybe it’s time to have a chat.

Warning Signs Your Friend’s New Relationship Might Be Toxic

Even though sneaky linking is supposed to be casual, sometimes it turns into a messy situationship. How do you know if the stress of your bestie’s new boo is bringing out the worst in them? “Do you know what? I don’t judge the guy at face value or meet them the first time, but what I would say is that I know my friend. So, if my friend starts to act different and starts to dim their personality, and their light, and their humor, and their loudness, I don’t like him for you because you’re not yourself,” Chloe preaches.

She knows because she’s experienced it herself. “I feel like I have been in that position so many times where I’m loud, I’m extravagant, I’m an extrovert, and then the guys are like, ‘Oh, you’re a bit too loud,’ or, ‘You’re a bit too out there and bizarre,’ and I’m like, ‘Well, hang on a second, I’m not going to dim my light for you.'” Chloe’s advice to her friends, fans, and herself is to never do that again.

Chloe Veitch’s Thoughts On The Sneaky Links Cast

The Sneaky Linkers on-screen mayhem ranges from cute to questionable to downright devious (looking at you, Colt and Manny). But when I ask Chloe who she thinks ruffled the most feathers, she has a really relatable response. “To be honest with you, it’s just like me on Too Hot To Handle. I went on the show thinking that, in order to feel loved, I needed validation from men through having sex. And these people went on Sneaky Links thinking that they were going to find love, but they already had ties to someone else back home.” It was obvious to Chloe (and the creative minds at Netflix) that this group might benefit from a gentle shove out of the shadows if they wanted to really find a relationship.

So even though some of the cast might have been moving mad along the way, Chloe thinks, “It was a beautiful experience to see the guys and the girls really hold a mirror up to themselves and recognize that. Even though what they’re doing isn’t necessarily harming themselves, it’s harming their future potential.” Cast members like Angelique, for example, had “progress throughout this series” that Chloe believes “everyone watching from an audience perspective will definitely relate to.”

Chloe, like everyone watching at home, was shook to hear Brandon plead for ” just the tip” in the year of our Lord, 2025. “I feel like the rest of the world watched that and thought, ‘I’ve definitely had a Brandon once in my life,'” Chloe laughs, adding, “Do you know what? I’ve been in the position where I’ve been a Brandon.” Let the first girlie who hasn’t ever been “like, ‘Please! Just allow me!” cast the first stone.

As for the cringiest thing a man has ever tried to use on Chloe as game? “I think it would just be the ‘You are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen’ or ‘I’m in love with you.’ The classical love bomb.”

But there is one romance Chloe is ready to rush into. “I’m just waiting for Nick Lachey and Vanessa to retire so I can take over Love Is Blind next,” Chloe jokes.
