It looks like TikTok is on its way out, and the app users are well aware of it. While some have gone down a nostalgic route and are posting the videos that made them famous on TikTok (Emily Mariko posted a salmon and rice bowl with her baby, and Jalaiah Harmon recreated her famous Renegade dance), other celebs and influencers are choosing to something a little more… titilating. With the potential TikTok ban looming, some of its popular users are letting their followers in on a few secrets they’ve kept over the years.
I’m not gonna lie, I am a bit confused about this trend because everyone’s acting like they’re about to disappear off the face of the earth when, in fact, a) we don’t even know if the ban is going to go through and b) these same celebs and influencers are asking their followers to join them on other apps like RedNote and Instagram. But hey, if everyone wants to spill some tea, I know I’ll enjoy hearing — who am I to question them?
Here are some of the juiciest secrets we’ve heard on TikTok. However, I do have to warn you that if you’re not chronically online, many of these will make absolutely no sense to you.
The Inventor of Gay Pop™ is done being a bad girl. All it took was being “1,000 feet from one of the most destructive wildfires,” she admits through tears. Apparently JoJo doesn’t even like alcohol?! “My Tito is water and my fireball is diet coke and apple juice to color match.” Truly an end of an era.

Chris has this bit where he’d “bring a cup of coffee” to different celebrities (he even brought Kamala Harris coffee!). And while I always knew it wasn’t the same cup of coffee that he was carrying through airports and in Ubers, I didn’t know the coffee cups were empty the entire time. My trust is broken.
Josh posts a bunch of videos highlighting different recipes — mainly smoothie bowls. In his most popular video, he writes that he though his smoothie bowl was super thick, and then turns it over to prove it… only for all of the contents to plop out onto the counter. Apparently, this was on purpose. Is nothing sacred?
A while back, creator Sonya Sed spoke about witnessing one of the internet’s favorite influencers be rude to her at a Cartier store. She continued to give out hints and whenever people would guess that it was Erika Priscilla, she’d like the comments — which led to Erika being bullied online. Well, Erika finally spoke out and said it was never her. Welp.
Your favorite private chef’s breakup with her boyfriend was no secret — at least eventually. Meredith admitted that her and her BF broke up weeks before this Walmart ad they both appeared in. Awkward.
If you enjoy watching this cringe video every year, I’m so sorry to tell you but the Mintz family does not enjoy making it. They only do it because their mom forces them to. I hope this doesn’t take the magic away from you.
Louisa is known for posting really ridiculous videos talking about insane situations she’s experienced (if you’ve heard about the marriage-separation-inheritance video, you know exactly what I’m talking about). And while we all knew that these were all fake stories (no one’s life is that chaotic), she admitted that her entire page is a social experiment. It makes so much sense now!
If you saw those really obnoxious videos of people trying the “10-pump” foundation trend and thought “that’s way too much,” congratulations — you were right. Meredith admitted that her video attempting the trend isn’t exactly accurate.
If you love watching this family’s TikToks, you know that the husband is always referred to as “Pookesh.” Well, surprise surprise: that’s not his real name. It’s actually Rakesh.
Two words: TikTok filters.
