When it comes to Netflix’s Love Is Blind, you simply never know who you’re going to get. There are the truly terrifying pathological liars, the fame-hungry attention seekers, and the professional gabbers who won’t stop talking, no matter how much their partners beg them. But every once in a while a few pure-hearted good souls sneak their way into the fold. When two level-headed scientists started shooting off sparks over the pod wall I immediately wondered how they could be so normal and still be willing to expose themselves on TV. But Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans were willing to experiment with reality TV to find love and TBH, I applaud them.
In the pods, Taylor and Garrett bonded over their math-related fields (Garrett is a physicist and Taylor works in clean energy) including accidentally matching adorable periodic table tattoos. They moved on to talking about their families and future grandchildren with relative grace, even though Garrett had a bit of a panic about Taylor’s potential looks halfway through. When they finally met face to face and flew off to Mexico, it was obvious that for both Garrett and Taylor, it was love at first sight. They ended the season as one of the strongest couples, with one minor non-cheating scandal under their belt. So, are Garrett and Taylor together now? They spilled it all at the reunion this year.
At the Love Is Blind reunion, Taylor and Garrett are still very much happy and in love. Hip hip hooray! I knew Garret’s new luscious long locks were inspired by a woman who “saw the potential”. Taylor called Garrett her “best friend” who “shows up every day” in the new married stage of their relationship. It’s clear the couple’s chemistry (see what I did there) is still off the charts by their coordinated cutesie vibes at the best seat on the couch. Garrett also shared that Taylor passed the ultimate test in his world: surviving a brotastic fishing trip.

Garrett later applauded Nick’s patience in dealing with Hannah’s constant judgment, without denying Hannah’s feelings were valid, which is further evidence my unproblematic king will remain on the right side of history. Garrett and Taylor’s love bubble has faced some hurdles in their first year of marriage, however, when they circled back to where to live long-term. During Love Is Blind season 7, Garrett agreed to move to San Diego with Taylor to be closer to her parents. But it turns out that move was more difficult than Garrett expected with being away from his entire support system. The couple compromised by staying in DC, just hours away from Garrett’s parents and close to all of their friends, at least for now. See how far a little conflict resolution and emotional maturity will go?! I’m looking at you, Alex, and Tim. I’m truly rooting for these two lovebirds — don’t embarrass me, G man!!
