April Showers Bring Seasonal Depression: Weekly Horoscopes April 8-12

Welcome to April, betches. A month of in-betweens, it’s likely that you’ll spend the next few weeks swimming in a sea of uncertainty. There are a few tried and true things in your life to ensure you stay afloat: friends, family, and alcohol. Don’t hesitate to gravitate toward any of them over the next couple days. What does the roller coaster that is April have in store for you this week? Find out in our weekly horoscopes.

Aries

The people just can’t get enough of you this week, Aries. Your phone is going to be ringing nonstop, and there’s nothing preventing you from answering it and seeing what opportunities are on the other end. This social streak won’t last forever, so don’t waste your newfound energy and seemingly endless options. Get out there and have some fun! You can sleep when you’re dead (or this weekend, whatever).

Taurus

This week is looking a little emotional, Taurus. For better or for worse, you’re going to be highly attuned to the way you feel over the next couple days. Whatever you do, don’t fight it. At times like these, it’s best to go with the flow and see where it takes you. Try your best to keep some perspective at times when you can feel yourself beginning to overreact. Just because you’re in touch with your inner self doesn’t mean the people around you are.

Gemini

This is a week for love, Gemini. You may find yourself reflecting on relationships old and new, even if it’s not a topic you’re looking to revisit. Don’t fight this—time and space have given you a perspective you didn’t have before. Use that new lens to examine where you’re at, and decide if that’s in the direction you want to be heading. Relationships don’t exist in a vacuum, so take some time to figure out how the world around you will come into play.

Cancer

Your career is obviously important, Cancer, but this week you may need to be reminded that it does not actually define who you are. It’s easy to get caught up in the grind and start equating your self-worth with your job title, so make sure to remove yourself as much as possible to try and gain some perspective. Being successful is great, but you know what’s better? Being happy. Or better yet, just not being miserable. Be kind to yourself over the next couple days, and don’t let capitalism get you down.

Leo

Change is on its way, Leo. These past few months, you’ve done a good job of staying calm in the face of overwhelming uncertainty, and you’re finally going to see something positive come of that. The next couple of days will be a great time to start tying up those loose ends that you’ve been living with for far too long. You’ve spent a long time thinking about how this would all end, and now it’s time to follow through on it.

Virgo

This is a week for closing old chapters, so that new ones can open. You may find yourself bustling around, checking off old to-do lists, and generally just getting your life together. That burst of productive energy won’t last forever, so don’t waste it. The peace and calm that comes from finishing something off is right around the corner, don’t stop until you get to it.

Libra

This is a week for some good, old-fashioned girl time, Libra. The hustle and bustle of spring has kept your to-do list long, and left your friendships by the wayside. Spend the next couple days fixing that, and dedicate some serious time to reconnecting with your friends. Nothin’ fancy required, just your gals, a bottle of wine (or six), and a couch to lounge on. Life tends to get in the way a lot these days, but don’t let it become a recurring excuse.

Scorpio

You have one job this week, Scorpio, and that is to take care of yourself. Continuing on the same path is no longer an option, my friend. You can’t burn the candle at both ends! In fact, you’re about to run out of wax to burn the candle at all. Take a couple days to refresh and rebuild yourself, whatever that means for you. Sleeping? Sure. Eating? Definitely. Turning off your phone? Go for it. Just make sure you come out the other end ready to take on the world.

Sagittarius

This is a week for living life to the fullest, Sagittarius. You’re going to have a pep in your step. A twinkle in your eye. An extra appreciation for all that life has to offer. People may confuse your newfound joie de vivre for a newfound prescription, but that’s not your problem. Ignore anyone who has anything negative to say, and spend the next couple days taking full advantage of this upswing.

Capricorn

Back to basics this week, Capricorn. You’re going to spend the next few days doing what you do best: stabilizing your life. Dive into that routine you so dearly love, and don’t look up until you feel the world has righted itself. There’s nothing wrong with building a solid foundation before moving forward into the unknown. This week is all about feeling secure and taking the necessary steps to make it happen. Be sure to enjoy yourself along the way.

Aquarius

Your internal monologue is going to be racing a mile a minute this week, Aquarius. Hope you’re ready for some introspection, because it’ll be coming at you hard and fast over the next couple of days. Not ready for it? Too bad. Be prepared to face any thoughts that you’ve been steadfastly avoiding these past few weeks, for better or for worse. You’ll come out of this feeling lighter than you have in years, but it’ll take some work to get there.

Pisces

Sometimes life throws you for a loop, Pisces. As the queen of adapting, you’re no stranger to that. This week, be ready to roll with the punches. Nothing is certain, and it’s getting murkier by the second, but a good attitude will keep you afloat during these crazy times. Don’t hesitate to lean on others when the toll starts to become too much. Just remember that you’ve never lost your cool in these kind of situations before, and you’re not about to start now.
