I think it’s fair to say we come to Love Is Blind for the drama but we stay for the love (when it eventually or briefly makes an appearance). Two of season 8’s biggest contenders for future wedded bliss are Taylor and Daniel, the couple who has matched each other’s freak from day one, especially when it comes to one special day of the year. No not their birthdays, or Valentine’s Day, I’m talking about December 25. Taylor and Daniel are obsessed with Christmas. Like, their final gifts to each other before the proposal were a Christmas stocking and a Christmas ornament, and Taylor literally already owned the same stocking that Daniel gave her. Wow! I love me some Fête Noël but that is certainly next level. But after some merry weeks in the pods, has a little frosty twist made its way in between Taylor and Daniel’s holiday love-fest??? Do Taylor and Daniel get married on Love Is Blind season 8? Let’s break down their situation-ship.
Are Taylor and Daniel still together after Love Is Blind season 8?
So far, it appears unlikely Taylor and Daniel get married after Taylor gets “scared” by Daniel’s actions on social media after their proposal. The season teaser does not show any clips of Taylor and Daniel together, either, but that could be a calculated choice to keep the viewers off the scent!

“24 Hours Later” (you know shit is serious when they bring out the time stamps) Taylor confronted Daniel after a long, sleepless night because she realized that their reveal was “not the first time [Daniel] saw her.” She was “fairly positive Daniel followed [her] on Instagram not long before coming on the show” (which she remembered because of one of his many Christmas pictures on his feed) a “scary” realization which brought Taylor to tears… for some reason.
Okay, fine, to be fair, Taylor’s logic is that because Daniel had seen her page (and allegedly preemptively unfollowed her before she could catch him??) he would’ve known what Taylor looked like, therefore making their magical connection a lot more superficial than she thought. Because Taylor mentions loving Taco Bell and being a nurse on her profile (oh girl, let’s unpack that level of basic later) she thinks Daniel knew exactly who he was talking to the whole time, including her looks.
To be even fairer to her feelings, Taylor did ask Daniel point blank in the pods if he “followed her,” after Daniel asked what her Instagram handle was. Daniel’s response was that he couldn’t “imagine” he did since he has a “weird memory when it comes to Instagram handles” and hers didn’t sound familiar. Daniel also noted he remembers “profile pictures” too. To lie about knowing her would be quite suss.
But even after Taylor called Daniel into her office to dramatically discuss what she’d uncovered, he denied the accusation full stop. If he did follow her, why would he unfollow her before entering the pods when there was no possible way he could’ve known she was also joining the cast? And though their Christmas obsession does seem quite niche, the picture Taylor described is not on Daniel’s page (she vividly detailed an image of Daniel holding a drink with his legs crossed in front of a Christmas tree). It feels hard to believe he not only covered his bases by unfollowing Taylor but by also deleting one of his beloved viral Christmas cards so she wouldn’t remember it was him. Then again, dogs be dogging, so anything is possible. Maybe he thought his new future wife wouldn’t want random women in his follows?

What happened during Daniel and Taylor’s reveal on Love Is Blind?
Daniel was over the moon to see Taylor for the first time, calling her “the most beautiful girl” he’s ever seen. Taylor, however, seemed a little tense and stilted when trying to validate she was just as excited. Taylor was smiling as she said things were “surreal” but that smile wasn’t hitting her eyes, if you know what I mean. At first, I thought she was acting awkwardly because she was disappointed she had found herself a short king, especially when she beelined for “the alcohol,” but that’s not why Taylor’s wheels were turning, as she would soon admit to producers.

What did Taylor and Daniel talk about in the pods?
Daniel and Taylor hit it off pretty quickly after he jokingly got down on one knee the first time they met. They discussed insecurities about their bodies (food/weight for Taylor, and height/not having a gym bod for Daniel) and eventually locked it down as BF/GF for the last two days of the blind experiment. By the end of their pods romance, they were saying “I love you” and that they had both “prayed for each other” in long letters that they read to each other leading up to their big reveal. Taylor said they’d cover “75% more” of the tough questions she’d never asked in long-term previous relationships before, but she did joke it would be “funny” if they couldn’t stand each other after meeting. Oops!
