I'm In Mourning: Steven And Sabrina From 'Love Is Blind: UK' Broke Up And It's Messy

Sigh. I guess love is not blind, because I literally thought Love Is Blind: UK stars Steven and Sabrina were soulmates. The Irish marketing and communications director and the English CrossFit gym owner hit it off immediately in the pods, bonding over gratitude journals and jewelry from their grandparents. They had basically zero drama in there aside from a brief disagreement about whether or not they wanted kids, and they were able to work that one out. But alas, despite me sending good vibes, Stebrina did not ultimately make it. Their part of the reunion episode was… anxiety-inducing, to say the least. There were some pretty intense accusations and comments made.

So, what the fuck happened here? Why did Love Is Blind: UK‘s Sabrina and Steven break up? Let’s get into this disaster.

This match ~seemingly~ made in heaven did make it to the altar and exchange beautiful vows. “I promise to always make you my No. 1, to be the hug before you realize you need it,” Steven said during the ceremony. “You stole my mind, and my heart, and now I give you my unconditional love.”

Sabrina then vowed to love her gym king “every day and have the patience that love requires on the more challenging days.” She added, “There’s so much we don’t know, and our journey has just begun, but in your arms I have found a home. I want you to know that I choose you today and every day for the rest of our lives.”

I fear actions speak louder than words… the love clearly wasn’t that “unconditional,” considering their marriage apparently lasted four months.

What Happened To Sabrina And Steven After Love Is Blind: UK?

If you ask Sabrina, Steven was a shithead, and if you ask Steven, Sabrina’s a liar. Hmmm… who to believe. Oh wait, I hate all men. And Steven didn’t have much of an argument.

Sabrina claimed that although Steven said he supported her career goals while they were in the pods, “the support wasn’t there” IRL. They had also previously agreed to split their time between Belfast and London for the first year, but they wound up doing long distance instead, which did not go swimmingly. Sabrina said that the communication between them was “awful” and alleged, “There was no consistency in Steven’s behavior towards me and the relationship.”

Steven blamed the long distance for their downfall, said that their communication styles were different, and reflected, “We just lost our spark.” Personally, I’m not convinced the spark was just magically lost, because we learned that Sabrina traveled from Belfast to London seven times, and Steven traveled from London to Belfast twice. “And I accept that’s where I let us down,” he said during the reunion.

But Sabrina had more to say about his *alleged* bullshit. “It wasn’t even just about traveling,” she continued. “When you came to Belfast, you wanted to go to the gym, so I paid for a car for you, to rent a car. I don’t drink tea or coffee so I had tea and coffee and French press for you.” She even bought an ironing board just for him. Sabrina emphasized, “I was trying to do everything I could to make the relationship work, and I just feel like you made zero accommodations in your life for me or our relationship.” She added that Steven didn’t like talking on the phone or texting when they were apart. Yeah, not a recipe for long distance success.

Shockingly, Steven was pissed at her list of accusations. “A lot of things that you’re saying are not facts, right?” he retorted. “I don’t recognize who you are at the moment.” The Sabrina and Steven section of the reunion was cut short when they couldn’t stop fighting.

I mean… thank goodness for Bobby and Jasmine and Benaiah and Nicole.
