Amidst the chaos of the world right now, we could all use a little distraction. And, for me personally, when life starts to get hard I turn to the healing powers of retail therapy. (Alexa, play “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande.) Since most of us are confined to our homes at this point, we can’t actually shop at physical retail locations, many of which are closed anyway. Fortunately, most companies are also doing their part to encourage you to stay home by either offering free shipping and returns and/or some other online exclusive discount. And trust me, I do realize there’s a lot bigger sh*t to be worrying about right now than updating your spring wardrobe. However, we’re all just trying to get through this tough time and could use a fantasy of better days in new spring clothes to get us through. Besides, I know that realistically all of you who are “working from home” right now are just shopping online anyway.
Quick PSA: Given the uncertainty of the current climate, a lot of these sites did not specify end dates for their promotions, so don’t expect all these deals to necessarily still be happening a week from now.
1. Free People
Not only is Free People currently offering free shipping and returns with no order minimum, you can even get express shipping on app orders $150+. (Not sure how necessary that is considering we still have over a week of quarantine, but I can appreciate the need for immediate gratification.) Oh, AND they’re doing an additional 25% off sale. Thank you Free People for being the best retail therapist ever during these trying times.
Nordstrom proves once again how much they love their customers, especially during these dark times. Since temporarily closing all of their stores, Nordstrom is currently offering 25% savings site wide, along with free shipping and free returns. They’ve even included beauty! Meaning, you can get products like Giorgio Armani foundation (which has become my personal go-to after hearing it’s the Kardashians’ go-to) for a rare 25% off.
3. South Moon Under
South Moon Under is here to heal your quarantine woes by offering 15% off $150 or more, plus free shipping on everything, no minimum required. They currently have an incredible selection of trendy spring clothes, swimwear, and accessories. If you’re still holding out hope for your summer trip that you planned, you can prep by getting your vacay wardrobe ready. (But like, don’t count on that getaway.) Or, if you’re living the #wfh life, they have tons of cute loungewear for you as well.
If you’re currently running low on face masks from all the self-care you’ve been doing during quarantine, have no fear: Sephora is now offering free shipping so you can feel less guilty about continuing to indulge. I’d also recommend ordering a hair mask and probably some moisturizers while you’re at it, considering all of our hands are dry and cracked from the incessant hand washing and hand sanitizing.
5. Nasty Gal
A great place to get some trendy new spring pieces is Nasty Gal, which is currently offering 60% off sitewide for a limited time. Of course, they’re almost always offering some type of deal, but 60% is pretty damn good. Not only do they have some great spring pieces that you’ll be happy to have post-quarantine, they even have super cute loungewear which is essential during this social distancing era.
6. Neiman Marcus
Another unreal offer happening right now is at Neiman Marcus, where they’re currently offering 25% off women’s, contemporary, and beauty, plus 20% off select items across the site. Again, if you didn’t hear me the first time, discounts on beauty are UNHEARD OF so if there’s anything you need or have always wanted to try, then now is the time.
If you’re not familiar with Singer22, then let it be my pleasure to introduce you. They carry all the hottest brands and even show you which pieces have been spotted on all of your favorite celebrities. I mean, who doesn’t want the same sunglasses as Meghan Markle? I’m all here for dressing like an ex-duchess even when no one can see me.
Anthropologie is oh-so-kindly gracing us with 25% off everything on the site right now. They’re also offering free shipping for orders $50+ (so like, one coaster) and free returns. They have some amazing new spring arrivals sure to get you excited for the possibility of one day being able to leave your house again!
Mejuri, the jewelry brand loved by celebrities and influencers, is currently offering free shipping on all orders. If you’ve always wanted to be that girl who’s effortlessly cool with her staple jewelry, then now is your chance. They have a great selection of fine jewelry at reasonable prices, and with free shipping, it’s a no brainer.
10. For Love & Lemons
One of my favorite brands, For Love & Lemons, is doing an additional 30% off sale. Needless to say, I’ll gladly be treating myself to some of their feminine floral pieces to lift my spirits during this hard time. *Adds entire sale section to cart.*
The go-to retailer for denim and other timeless pieces, Madewell, is doing their part to help us through the quarantine by offering free shipping and returns, plus an extra 40% off sale and 25% off everything else. Meaning, it’s the perfect time to get some spring essentials like a denim jacket or slip-on sneakers.
Quay is bringing some light to our dark days right now by offering free shipping on all orders plus 25% off sitewide. They have a great selection of trendy sunglasses which you’ll need again…eventually. More importantly, they also sell blue light glasses, and since everyone is working from home and staring at screens non-stop, now is the time to finally get yourself a pair.
So while you’re stuck inside bored out of your mind, you can now at least dream of better days with spring weather and spring clothes by shopping these promotions. I know it seems like there’s no end in sight, but this too shall pass, and, when it does, you’ll be ready.
