It seems like every day, there’s a new influencer clothing line for TikTok to fight over, and thanks to Paige DeSorbo, Summer House fans and followers got to enter the chat. The early-retired Bravolebrity decided to move on from the Hamptons to greener pastures, AKA launching a pajama line (that, yes, when bought in pairs, is often well over $200), perfect for rotting horizontally all day, keeping up with Paige’s constantly referenced Bed Bug brand. There’s even a shirt named “The Hannah” after Paige’s Giggly Squad co-host Hannah, for the brave souls who think feeling the Bern is aspirational. But is Daphne actually designed for ladies who rest? The reviews are in for Paige DeSorbo’s pajama label, Daphne, and these opinions have me wide awake.
Reviews, Criticism For Paige’s Pajama Line Daphne
Why are people mad about Paige’s pajamas?

Paige’s sold-out label, Daphne, has some seriously mixed reviews on the internet around sizing, pricing, and the creativity of the designs. Many diehard Gigglers expectedly sang praises for the line, including one happy customer who wrote, “so i’ll be living in the daphne hannah tee 24/7 from now on.” Still, other fans (and haters, too) had a lot of feedback for the Amazon fashionista. Under that same positive post, the creator was fighting for her life against comments like “I’m sorry but is that a hospital gown” and “truly cannot imagine being this excited about an overpriced sleep shirt from a bravoleb lmfao.” “God forbid a woman support another woman!!!” one user wrote in defense of the excitement for Paige’s work.

On the other hand, one passionate Paige fan was sorely disappointed “after years of cheering” her favorite influencer on that Daphne “left plus sizes out completely.” She called the oversight heartbreaking. The lack of plus sizes is constant pushback on influencer merch, including for Paige’s fellow Bed Bug Amanda Batula’s bikini line. Some Gigglers defended this choice, citing how new Paige’s business is or that “everything isn’t meant for every person.” But other online shoppers co-signed the frustration, with one person adding, “I’ve worked with influencer merch launches for years, and it is absolutely a choice to leave off plus sizes. She could have, but she didn’t. Period”

Other spectators were “underwhelmed” by Daphne’s styles, especially for the high price point. “Apparently these pajama sets are $200,” beanienyc shared over a greenscreen showing pics of the items, “it’s giving…slapping a label on Alibaba and charging $200 for it.” The creator continued by comparing Daphne to other popular influencer lines, like Parke and Daily Drills, but noting those lines are “at least cute” compared to her opinion of Paige’s line: paper-thin and formulaic fast fashion. A beauty and tech venture capital exec named Amber piled on, joking, “Where are my grippy socks?” because the silhouettes look like hospital clothes. Amber summarized many fans’ concerns that, for the price point, you could get luxury pajamas without ties on the side that seem counter-productive to lying down.
Many commenters on Paige’s own try-on haul (posted on Daphne’s TikTok) echoed the disappointment with the designs. Stargalore331 wrote, “Baby we don’t care about the ‘Daphne D’ logo but the prices😭.” Comments like “Go Paige give us nothing,” “I feel like I’m being gaslit,” and “This doesn’t even look like something Paige would wear” got thousands of likes.
Paige’s Response To Daphne Backlash

Paige responded to beanienyc’s viral TikTok with a simple reply: “I’m so sorry you’re underwhelmed! They are not 200 they are also not from alibaba! Daphne is original designs, and 100% cotton. Sorry that you didn’t want to order!” To Paige’s point, one piece is not $200, but if you buy The Order-In Smock with the Golden Hour pant, for example, your total would be $230… awesome they’re not from Alibia, though!
Paige also clarified under another plus-sized fan’s post that “We will have more sizes in the next drop! This was only our first drop! We are a small team and we will be adding xxs and xxl,” though the creator insisted that “3-4xl” is what “curvy girlies” would be hoping for. Paige’s producing partner, Concept Brands, has launched lines for huge companies such as Ralph Lauren and Adidas.
