You may know Justine Skye from Instagram, where she has 1.2 million followers and is regularly snapped with famous besties Kendall and Kylie Jenner. But the self-proclaimed “purple unicorn” is so much more than a large social media presence, although she did gain notoriety through Tumblr back in the day. The 22-year-old Brooklyn native dropped out of high school to pursue her singing career, and has since worked with the likes of ScHoolboy Q, Wale, and more. She’s now signed to Republic Records, who is putting out her first album, Ultra Violet. Justine’s debut album features appearances by Wizkid (you know, from Drake’s “One Dance”) and Jeremih, and you’ve probably already jammed out to some of Justine’s newest singles like “Don’t Think About It” and “Good Love”.
