IDK about you, but I’m getting pretty tired of seeing a new beauty trend pop up every week (hello, blueberry milk nails and iced coffee nails). In fact, I’m actually overwhelmed. But, this week I’m feeling a little biased because I actually really like what I’m seeing…and that’s black chrome nails.
As a girlie who’s committed to glazed donut nails for the past year, this is a total 180, but I just can’t resist some chrome powder. As black chrome nails started appearing on my FYP, I was immediately intrigued. These nails have a gunmetal-like finish and are more reflective than when lighter nail polishes are topped off with chrome powder. I love how the color looks on almond-shaped nails, which is what majority of the TikTok videos show, with the exception of some round nails.
So, if you’re feeling moodier vibes for winter, this trend could be worth a try. In even better news, I found some polishes that give the same effect without having to go to the salon for a full chrome mani.
