After over a month and 37 episodes of Love Island USA season 7, it’s safe to say we were all done. Drained. Absolutely depleted. Every person on that Situationship Island (with the exception of Nicolandria and Amaya Papaya and Bryan) successfully managed to annoy the hell out of me.
From the concerning Huda and Jeremiah situation to the boys bullying Amaya to Cierra getting removed from the show after fans discovered alleged racist social media posts, there was never a ~dull~ moment. While Nicolandria and Amaya and Bryan were legit final four couples, I truly cannot believe Iris and Pepe made it that far, and Huda and Chris never should’ve coupled up in the first place.
So, did any love actually come out of this season? Who’s still dating over a month after the finale? During the August 25 reunion special, hosted by iconic duo Andy Cohen and Ariana Madix, we got some pretty major updates on the cast members’ relationship statuses. But if you didn’t feel like watching all two hours, I don’t blame you: Here’s an update on the Love Island USA season 7 couples.
Which Love Island USA Season 7 Couples Are Still Together?
Are Amaya And Bryan Still Together?
Mmm, it’s not looking good. On August 25 (the day of the reunion), Amaya and Bryan unfollowed each other on Instagram. And the unfollowing came after rumors that Bryan cheated on her.
In the reunion, Bryan admits he had a “lapse in judgment,” but doesn’t say anything about cheating. Apparently, his lapse in judgement was “pouring shots around, giving the crowd shots, stuff like that” when he hosted a party. Yes, they seemed cozy during the reunion, but something must’ve gone down since they filmed it on August 12. Amaya and Bryan have yet to address the breakup rumors.
Back in July, the champions were thriving. “[Amaya and I] are exclusive and taking steps to [be boyfriend and girlfriend],” Bryan recently told US Weekly. “We care deeply about each other and we don’t want to rush things. Her happiness is very important. My happiness is very important.”
Are Nic And Olandria Still Together?
Fear not, Nicolandria Nation: These two seem to be going strong AF. They just don’t have an official label yet.
Nic shared, “There’s been a lot of pressure up to this moment. I know people are expecting us to have a label by now.” He and Olandria are still keeping things chill, dating and getting to know each other. “We’ve always been believers in taking our time with things and not trying to let outside pressure dictate our relationship,” he added. “We’re going on trips together. We have future dates planned.” Thank GOD.
Apparently, their sex life is going great too. Nic quipped, “They call me Big Belgian for a reason,” and Olandria blushed and confirmed, “It was worth the wait.” Screaming.
Are Iris And Pepe Still Together?
These two always gave me situationship vibes, so I’m not shocked that they appear to have broken up. On August 24, Iris and Pepe unfollowed each other on IG, and Iris posted a Story set to the classic breakup anthem, “Silver Springs” by Fleetwood Mac. This came after allegations that Pepe cheated on Iris (still unconfirmed). Iris and Pepe haven’t made any statements about the rumored breakup yet.
When Iris and Pepe filmed the reunion, they were still dating… but there was definitely some tension. Apparently, they had disagreements about what it means to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Iris wanted to be formally asked, and Pepe thought being exclusive was already being boyfriend and girlfriend. Oof.
In July, Iris and Pepe said that they were exclusive, but still seeing where it could go. “What I have with Pepe is real,” Iris told People at the time. (When TMZ caught Iris meeting up with TJ, that was allegedly just a “closure” talk.)
Are Huda And Chris Still Together?
LOL, nope! These two broke up while they were still in the villa. For reasons unknown to me, the nation voted for Huda and Chris to be in the final, even though they were having problems basically the whole time. When they got to go on a date in the last episode, Chris basically made Huda break up with him. It was quite dramatic… a lady singing “Moon River” randomly appeared while it was happening.
During the reunion, Chris was quick to say he doesn’t ever wanna be friends with Huda and doesn’t “respect” how she’s handled post-Love Island interviews.
Are Ace And Chelley Still Together?
These two didn’t make it to the final, but yes, Ace and Chelley are definitely still together.
“We’re still exclusive, just waiting for the perfect moment to be official,” Chelley said about their relationship status. Ace teased that he has “something up [his] sleeve,” so it sounds like they’ll be official real soon. He confirmed that he’s “in love” with her. Aww.
Yes, these two met before the show, but no, they were never secretly married with a kid! LOL. On June 19, Chelley’s team shared a statement on that rumor: “They were never in a relationship, never lived together and there are no children or hidden past. What’s unfolding now is real, unscripted and could change at any moment.”
Are Taylor And Clarke Still Together?
Yup, Taylor and Clarke are still together and exclusive.
Clarke recently posted an Oklahoma City photo dump with pics of them posing on horses and wearing cowboy hats. “We’re still the same as we were in the villa,” Taylor told Today in July. “That’s why I used the word exclusive instead of closed off. Closed off is a villa term.”
