So obviously we all tuned in for the 2025 Met Gala and so oh how finely tailored (the majority of) the suits were. I always set mid-to-low expectations for how well the guests will fit the theme each year, but this year I was pleasantly surprised by how on-theme most of the looks were. It was a super fun ~~red~~ blue carpet this year. But, IMO, the real fun starts with the after parties.

Sure, at the actual Met Gala, you get all the really wild looks. Like, can we talk about the fact that Demi Moore was dressed as a giant neck tie? But the after parties are where the stars can let their hair down and have some fun. There isn’t just one major after party for the Met Gala; instead the guests bop around all over New York to the many events that keep the night going. And the looks tend to fit that fun, party-hopping vibe.

The Met Gala after party looks are more casual than the ones for the main event, so as a girlie who appreciates a more chill hangout rather than a big ball, this is my favorite part. So join me for my very non-fashion-person opinions on the 2025 Met Gala after party looks.
