I think I would genuinely watch Elle Woods do anything. Obviously, it’s a treat to watch the iconic character become a lawyer in Legally Blonde. But that’s not all she can do: She also conquers Capitol Hill in the name of animal rights in the underrated classic Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde. And then, there’s also the singing and dancing version of Elle in Legally Blonde: The Musical. Honestly, Elle Woods is kind of like a Barbie doll fans get to watch in all different pink-hued forms. So of course I’m amped that now we get to watch the latest edition of Elle, Teenage Elle, in the prequel Legally Blonde series.
Yup, we’re going back in time to the 1990s to see Elle Woods’ origin story in the Amazon Prime series Elle. The OG Elle, Reese Witherspoon, is producing the series and said in a statement, “I truly couldn’t be more excited about this series! Fans will get to know how Elle Woods navigated her world as a teenager with her distinct personality and ingenuity in ways that only our beloved Elle could do.”
Start practicing your bend and snap now because here’s everything we know about the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel TV series Elle.
