Hydrating Shampoo
First of all, this shampoo smells like a very expensive day at the spa. Clean, warm, and a tiny bit floral without being overpowering. The texture in my hand is what really got my attention, though. It was super creamy, like a lotion, and yet had a ton of slip, which is why it foamed up so dreamily. The silicone-free formula (duh) uses an “antioxidant-rich African oil blend, hydrating hyaluronic acid, and moisturizing Phyto-Collagen Complex” to hydrate and strengthen. It is worth noting that I had just dyed my hair (chemical redheads, rise) about two weeks before using, and the formula was gentle enough not to send heaps of color running down my tub.

Hydrating Conditioner
They weren’t lying when they said this formula is lightweight and works wonders in just one minute (I left it in for a few more anyway). As a high-porosity hair hero, the vitamins and oils felt like they were coating my hair in a delicious hug, and the results were evident the second I washed it out. Shiny, strong, happy hair.

Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub
If you’re wondering why your hair is still ehh after you wash, you probs have product, dirt, and oil still trapped in there because you’re not periodically clarifying! This is especially true for my curly girls or girls who use a lot of styling products, like for weekly slickbacks. The fanciest part of Cécred’s clarifying answer is the elite minty scent (peppermint doesn’t quite describe it) and the application spout. The best part was the gentle exfoliation my scalp desperately needed.

Moisture Sealing Lotion
As a girlie who grew up with pink lotion (real ones know) being slathered on my curls, I was both curious and cautious of a hair lotion. It also smelled like a sexy hotel bar, which I can’t say for the pink stuff. This was easily my favorite product in the end because of how such a small amount of product made my curls shiny, soft, and defined AF for the next 48 hours (!!!) FYI, that was even without any oil on top because, yes, I got tired after my everything shower. The power of the moisture lock was especially noticeable after bleaching my hair at the salon had left the curls around my crown looking particularly puny.

Reconstructing Treatment Mask
Speaking of hair dye, Cécred’s patented “Bioactive Keratin Ferment” is already raved about by salon pros all over the internet, so I don’t have to add much. This has the same delicious oud/vetiver/sandalwood scent combo as the lotion that I need in a perfume bottle, stat.

This potent (and, yes, pricey) product was sold out, so I actually didn’t get to try it, but Cécred’s oil has won multiple awards after acing clinical trials, so I’ll take that as a very good sign. The TikTok girlies are always yelling about oiling your hair for growth and TBH, they’re not wrong, so this could be your sign.
Vented Paddle Brush
When you have curly, oily, or kinky hair, there’s a v delicate dance between getting your hair untangled and subjecting your locks to breakage. I hadn’t seen a paddle brush with this spread-out “honeycomb” design before (I’m loyal AF to my wide-flow detangler brush). The glide on this brush was, to my surprise, a difference I could feel. I will say the glossy texture on the handle wasn’t ideal for brushing in the shower with soaking wet hands but that’s kind of a me problem (lol). I imagine this would also be perf for breaking up heated barrel curls into a natural wave.
