Yes, John as in The Office, A Quiet Place, etc. Although I personally have no issue with this outcome (and I’m mostly just thrilled that someone beat Glen), I acknowledge that it feels a touch random. I will point out that Sexiest Man Alive is a readers’ choice poll! John simply won the popular vote, and you can rest assured that he’s just as shocked and confused as you are. When he learned that he was going to be crowned People‘s 2024 Sexiest Man Alive, he apparently had an “immediate blackout” and “zero thoughts.” At first, the actor and director thought he was being pranked. “That’s not how I wake up, thinking, ‘Is this the day that I’ll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?’” John told the magazine. “And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me.”
