We can all appreciate a vanilla-to-the-bone 35-year-old man with some muscles, pearly whites, and baby blues. I guess that’s why we as a society are obsessed with the impressively mid male actor Glen Powell. Personally, I enjoyed the Glen and Sydney Sweeney affair rumors far more than I enjoyed their rom-com Anyone But You. But despite that objectively terrible film, the people want more of this guy, so more they shall get. He and Sydney have already discussed an Anyone But You 2 situation… Lord have mercy. Glen also stars in the new Netflix movie Hit Man in case you’re craving some assassin content.
For those of you afflicted by a longing for him, I understand. I too have experienced inexplicable, overwhelming emotional attachments to white boys of the month. They come, they go — it’s just the circle of delusional crushes. Is he really The One though? As a precaution, I vetted him for you: Here’s the lowdown on Glen’s dating history.
Glen and Nina were first linked in January 2017 when they spent time together at a New Year’s party in Texas. Things seemed to be heating up when they attended a Golden Globes afterparty together and sure enough, their relationship was confirmed by July. But alas, the sparks died and they broke up the following November. Tragic. You’ll be relieved to know that they remained buddies after the split and frequently support each other at premieres.

In November 2018, Glen tipped his toes into the Australian dating pool. He dated Australian TV host Renee Bargh for about six months and apparently, she wasn’t so into his American-ness. After their split, Renee told The Daily Mail, “A good Aussie boy would be great.” Come on, Glen. You couldn’t have perfected the accent?
Following his relationship with Renee, Glen decided to be totally not like the other male actors — he went for a model. He and Gigi started dating in early 2020 and went on to have a three-year romance filled with glamorous Hollywood events and red carpet appearances. Right around the time he was promoting Anyone But You (coughs aggressively), they split. A source told People, “Gigi was never happy with the long distance filming and when she came to Australia [to visit him on set for Anyone But You], they both decided to break up for good.” Ope.

OKAY, I know this was just a rumored affair, but let a woman gossip. Obviously, we’re all aware that they had a lot of chemistry, um, not really in Anyone But You but in the Anyone But You press tour. Unfortunately, Sydney’s engaged to Jonathan Davino, whoever the fuck that is, and she and Glen have denied and poked fun at the romance rumors many times now. Mhmmm, I still think Glydney is gonna happen… or already happened.
