A bunch of adorable old guys (who have mostly never seen The Bachelor franchise) losing their minds over the bachelor mansion, clapping for each other, and respectfully pursuing my queen, Joan Vassos? Television is peaking. The Golden Bachelorette finally premiered on September 18, and I am fully invested in Joan’s journey to find love. Fortunately, the 61-year-old school administrator from Rockville, Maryland seems to have a lot of kind and charismatic options, so hats off to the casting folks. Even after one episode, Bachelor Nation is already obsessed with several of the men, and theories about the winner are starting to circulate on social media. Here are my fave theories about who wins The Golden Bachelorette and ends up with Joan!
Who Wins The Golden Bachelorette?
The Golden Bachelorette Winner Theories
Listen, if you wanna know the winner already, I’m sure you’re aware that Reality Steve is your guy. But for those of us who enjoy fun and suspense, here are the fan favorites and theories so far!
Off the bat, Charles L. is a fan favorite. The former financial analyst from Philadelphia gave a pretty iconic mansion tour during the season premiere, admiring the “humongous” fridge, the fireplace, and the cookware. His review? “Super! Fantastic. Beyond my imagination. It’s-it’s just magnificent.” That’s also my review of his tour, coincidentally. “I need to see so much more charles on my screen, he’s everything,” one viewer wrote on Twitter. Agreed.
Of course, we also need to keep a close eye on Mark, as in Kelsey Anderson’s dad who accidentally wooed the nation when he appeared on The Bachelor with his daughter. Mark was introduced to Joan by Kelsey, and Joan literally said, “You can just call me mom” to her. Omg?? Not to mention, Joan says, “I am in love with you, Mark” in a trailer. Hmmm. I think it’s safe to say he’s at least making it close to the end. “I just think Mark is gonna make it extremely far,” one TikToker theorized. “They seemed very youthful together, they seemed like they had a lot in common. I feel like she is going to be very into Mark, and I think Mark is gonna be very into her.” There ya have it.
Keith was awarded the first impression rose, so there might be something there. “I feel like I’m out there kind of floating,” Joan said about the Californian sales director in a confessional. “He just has this very warm and easy way about him. He is a quick laugh. He’s also very sincere and he just makes me feel comfortable.” Sounds promising! I’m so sat for the rest of this season.
