Who Is Getting Married To Anant Ambani?
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani (aka Asia’s richest man with a casual $118 billion fortune) is finally tying the knot with Radhika Merchant. Now, who is this lucky lady, you ask? Radhika is the daughter of Viren Merchant, the billionaire CEO of Encore Healthcare. So yeah, both families are swimming in more money than we could ever imagine. The couple, both 29, met through mutual friends in 2017 and have been inseparable since.
Radhika isn’t just a billionaire heiress — she’s also a graduate of NYU and works at her father’s company. Oh, and did I mention she’s also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer? Meaning she’s trained in this super technical form of classical Indian dance. Anant, on the other hand, is a Brown University grad and is heavily involved in animal welfare. He even recently opened Vantara, a massive 3,000-acre animal sanctuary, because why not save the animals while planning a wedding that’s going to make history? NBD.

Anant and Radhika’s nuptials are set to be an epic, multi-day event in Mumbai, kicking off on July 12 at the Ambani family’s 27-story home, Antilia, and the Jui World Convention Centre, which can host over 16,000 people. And no, I didn’t accidentally add two zeroes. This is going to be huge.
The pre-wedding parties alone were the stuff of legends. Back in March, they had a three-day extravaganza in Jamnagar, India with 1,200 high-profile guests, including tech moguls like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates. Oh, and did I mention they had the Rihanna perform almost 20 songs under a sky lit up by 5,500 drones. If you were wondering how much it would cost to have Rihanna sing at your wedding, I’d say about $9 million.
Then in May, they went on a four-day Mediterranean cruise featuring performances by Katy Perry, the Backstreet Boys, and Andra Bocelli. I’m a little offended I didn’t get my invite for any of the pre-wedding events, but here’s hoping I get one for the wedding.
