Kenya Moore Is Gone With The Wind Fired From 'RHOA'

Bad news for bitches who love chaos: Read assassin Kenya Moore has exited The Real Housewives Atlanta in the middle of shooting season 16. Rumors began twirling around town that the 11-season Gone With The Wind Fabulous star had gotten into some serious trouble with the network after sharing inappropriate photos of RHOA newbie Brittany Eady at a filmed event. Kenya has been known to toe (read: decimate) the line with elaborate stunts to dig at her cast mates in the past. Don’t get me wrong, it’s often been entertaining. But if I’m supposed to be shocked that the woman who yelled in her castmate’s ear with a megaphone, actively terrorized living black Hollywood legend Kim Fields including wrenching a chair out from under her, and basically ruined her best friend’s surprise proposal for sport took her villain antics too far for attention, I’m not sure why. Still, the details surrounding Kenya’s hasty departure are eyebrow raising to say the least. Let’s discuss the scandal behind Kenya Moore leaving RHOA and what this means for Atlanta’s future as a whole.

Was Kenya Moore fired from RHOA?

Technically Kenya is voluntarily leaving the Atlanta Housewives franchise after an investigation into her behavior during season 16 filming of the show led to her being put on an indefinite pause. It’s speculated that Kenya would rather walk away than let the investigation run its course, which has led to the firing or rehiring of other Wives in the past. While sources told TMZ the possibly temporary break was mutual, it’s obvious from Kenya’s not-so-subtle commentary on social media that she was not happy about saying goodbye and feels she was wronged in the situation, alluding that “the truth always comes to light” (lol-worthy thing to say when the truth is so blatantly not in your favor). Insiders also say Kenya may be considering legal action against Bravo (not the first in recent years) and that there was no chance of her return placed on the table, like ever.

While the exact details have yet to be aired (if they ever will), cast and on-set talent present for the scene alleged that at her Kenya Moore Hair Spa Grand opening, Kenya displayed blown-up images of cast mate Brittany Eady performing oral sex. The photos were allegedly taken and shared non-consensually and are therefore considered a classic case of revenge porn. Can we get Bravo and revenge porn out of the same sentence sometime soon, pls? Someone (who is *totally not* Ken) then planted a leak that Brittany threatened Moore with a gun, when Brittany apparently just used the word gun?? IDK the specifics there, but the whole thing sounds extremely targeted and messy on Kenya’s part, especially considering it’s not like she and Brittany have seasons’ worth of previous beef to even attempt to justify swinging at her brand-new castmate this hard. While Kenya stans running to her defense with examples of other problematic Bravolebs who have escaped the guillotine speaks to the former Miss USA’s iconic impact, Bravo ignoring such red flag behavior intentionally done *on camera* is an actual legal and moral issue that seems impossible to get around.

Who is replacing Kenya Moore on RHOA?

With Kenya’s spot free, and fans in serious panic mode about the future of the already flailing franchise, it seems highly likely she’ll have to be replaced. Frick and frack stans are hopeful this may have made room for Phaedra to return. God knows Shereé would jump at a moment’s notice to break her own record for the most fired/rehired Housewife of all time. But can honorary OGs even save the show at this point? I guess we’ll have to give season 16 a chance to find out.
