I feel like I spent all summer daydreaming about fall, but now that it’s finally here, I’m kinda wishing I’d made better use of my time. I only hit the beach once, and my tan lines have already vanished because I spent most of the season laying in front of a fan and binge-watching rom-coms. It was seriously way too hot to be outside (for me at least), so now this “seasonal transition” feels pretty anticlimactic — basically just swapping out the fan for a blanket.
September has always been the awkward middle child between August and October, a little too late for pool parties but a little too early for Halloween decorations. But hey, at least it’s the perfect moment to ease yourself into fall vibes. So, we’ve got you covered with a list of shows to ~set the mood.~ Summer might be over, but these Peacock shows are still bringing the heat, here’s what to watch right now:
Colin Jost and Michael Che Present: New York After Dark
Breaking news: Michael Che and Colin Jost are ditching Saturday night for Thursday night (sort of). The iconic SNL duo will host Peacock’s first LIVE comedy event, which will feature some super fun surprise guests. And, lucky for you, you’ve got a front-row seat from the comfort of your couch! Colin Jost and Michael Che Present: New York After Dark streams on Thursday, September 12 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET and best believe we will be sat for the shenanigans.
World’s Most Notorious Killers
As Halloween approaches, prepare yourself with some gruesome stories of murderers that will have your mouth on the floor. This true crime docuseries features five high-profile killers with intimate interviews from the people closest to their cases. You might want to watch this one with the lights on, though — just in case.
Here Come The Irish
Big shoutout to Taylor Swift for getting everyone hooked on the NFL last year, but there’s more to be done. This year it’s time to dive into the college football season. Join the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team both on and off the field on their journey to the National Championship.
Face to Face with Scott Peterson
If you haven’t caught up on the Scott Peterson case yet, what are you waiting for?! Don’t miss Scott Peterson speaking out from behind bars for the first time in his notorious 20-year-old murder case.
