Wedding Guest Dresses That Look Expensive, But Are Under $200

Welp, we’re already in March, so that basically means spring is any day now. This incidentally brings me to the topic of this article: spring marks the start of wedding season. You might be so psyched to get a sh*tload of wedding invites in the upcoming months (or not, because same), but after you fantasize about the open bar, groomsmen, and plenty of Instagram opportunities, you’ll realize your biggest struggle is finding what to wear. Story of our lives, right? Well, as much of a headache this may always be, for weddings in particular, it’s even worse. There’s the color, the length, the style, and oh yeah, the price tags they have. Like, I’m not the bride here. I really shouldn’t be the one stressed to f*cking tears about something I’m probably only going to wear once (don’t even try me with the “you can totally wear this again!” bullsh*t). So, after searching high and low, I’ve rounded up some chic, formal wedding guest dresses that look like they cost a lot more than their $200 price—and they look so good you’ll want to wear them again.

1. Reformation Vollare Dress

I think if I write the whole “florals for spring?” quote again, I’ll shoot myself in the foot, so let’s not, but say we did. You know the drill—it’s spring and people f*cking love floral for weddings. After you wear this to celebrate true love, wear it again to bottomless brunch and whatever else us gals do when the weather hits 70 degrees.

2. ASOS True Violet Exclusive Plunge Front High Low Skater Dress

You can never go wrong with a skater dress. They look amazing on everyone and on every body. This dark navy is neutral enough to go with any pair of shoes if you’re looking to contrast with some color.

3. Topshop Off The Shoulder Wrap Midi Dress

Yellow is like, the new millennial pink. You’ll definitely see this color a million times this upcoming wedding season. If you’re into shining bright and being the total spotlight at the party, you’ll want nothing less than this sexy off the shoulder style.

4. Ali & Jay Cheek To Cheek Dress

This lace cocktail dress is v simple, yet classy and elegant without trying too hard. Pair it with heels or flats (hell, you’ll need to pack both after dancing all night), and you’ll end up with a dress to wear to a wedding, and a dress to wear out to date night, too.

5. Bardot Kristen Ruffled-Hem Midi Dress

Will blush ever go out of style for weddings? Probably not. The pastel color flatters just about anyone, and with a sultry deep V like this style, you’ll nail the perfect combination of sexy and cute wherever you decide to strut this to.

6. Bardot Emily Frill Dress

Whoever said you can’t wear black to weddings is probably the same person who says you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pizza. It’s all lies and you don’t need that type of negativity in your life. Thank u, next. Opt for a stunningly minimalist look like this maxi and you’ll have another black dress to wear out more than once.
