Welp, it seems Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce won’t be making their long-awaited red carpet debut at the 2025 Grammys. Blondie showed up to the award show solo, looking STUNNING in a hot red minidress. About damn time we weren’t lamenting her rumored lack of stylist. TBH, I can’t wait for the the day when the football star finally accompanies Taylor to an award show… I’m sure the shots of them drinking and dancing together will be very entertaining. But sadly, despite the fact that Taylor’s nominated for six awards this year for The Tortured Poets Department, her athlete BF is booked, busy, and nowhere to be seen.

This is like the shortest dress I’ve ever seen Taylor wear? I’m a fan though. And it’s short for a reason —she’s showing off her upper thigh “T” jewelry, so the BF is there in spirit. It’s kind of giving… “What if he’s written mine on my upper thing only in my mind.”

Unfortunately, the Grammys and the Super Bowl are always just one week apart, and Travis’ team is headed to the Super Bowl for the third year in a row. I have to assume Travis isn’t able to cheer Taylor on at the award show ’cause he’ll be busy prepping for game day. At least, that was his explanation last year when the same situation happened.

“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for,” he said ahead of the music award show in February 2024. “Unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big ‘ole Super Bowl that we got in a week.” Even if he wanted to go or was able to, I think NFL fans would actually kill him if he was seen at the Grammys a week before the Super Bowl — especially if the Chiefs lost.

But still, Travis showed his support from afar last year. He “liked” a photo of Taylor’s 2024 Grammys red carpet look that was posted by NPR, and after she won a bunch of awards (including album of the year for Midnights), he praised her during a press conference. “She’s unbelievable, she’s rewriting the history books herself,” the football star gushed. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and bring home some hardware, too.” And as we know, he did indeed ~hold up his end of the bargain~.

We can surely expect to see Taylor support Travis at the 2025 Super Bowl, which will take place at the in New Orleans, Louisiana. Maybe next year, the Chiefs will finally not make it to the Super Bowl and we’ll get that Travis and Taylor red carpet couple debut.
