Well, it seems there are definitely more “The Alchemy” and “So High School” in our future, because Travis Kelce just teased new Taylor Swift music that’s inspired by him. I can’t say I’m shocked by this update. After all, it’s no secret these two are madly in love, and Taylor tends to document her romances in her discography. Personally, I’m still waiting on Reputation (Taylor’s Version), but hey, brand-new music from the queen of songwriting is also always welcome.
I dare say we can probably expect a whole new album from Blondie in 2025, considering she’s given us new music basically every year for the last bazillion years. Plus, she has a year and a half’s worth of Travis material to share now. (They were first linked in September 2023.) During a recent podcast appearance, The Guy On The Chiefs got Swifties excited when he hinted at Taylor’s next project: Here’s what Travis Kelce said about new Taylor Swift music.

Travis pretty much confirmed that there’s new Taylor music — about him — on the way.
During the January 13 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, host Pat McAfee joked that he’s learned about all the “fuckboys out there” because his wife plays Taylor’s albums. The podcast host said he’s feeling optimistic about future Taylor music since Travis is presumably inspiring a lot of it. “I think there’s one coming where it’s gonna be great,” Pat said. “Like good things. That’ll be great in my house.”
“There might be a few,” Travis responded. “I don’t know. There might be a few.” OPE. Yeah, he’s definitely aware of a bunch more songs about himself. When Pat asked if he’d heard any, Travis stressed, “You know I can’t say any of that.” He teased, “I hear music everywhere.”
Travis did confirm that he’s a “motivator” when it comes to Taylor and her music, which is very on-brand. “I’ll never chime in, but I’m here to support it,” he explained to Pat. “I’m here to see where it can go.”
Travis has never been shy when it comes to sharing his opinions on Taylor’s music. During a November 2024 episode of his New Heights podcast, he revealed his favorite Taylor songs. “‘Blank Space’ is a song I’ll always listen to forever,” he said. Taste. The football star added, “‘Death by a Thousand Cuts’ is one I’ve learned to absolutely love.” Naturally, Travis also had to shout out the ones he’s already inspired. “I mean, ‘The Alchemy,’ you can’t go wrong with that one,” he joked. “And ‘So High School,’ the feelings that that gives you.”
I’m guessing he already has new favorite Taylor songs that we haven’t heard yet.
