As the non-Gigglers and Gigglers alike are now well aware, Paige and Craig have ended their relationship. Not gonna lie, didn’t think this day would come, at least not so soon, considering they were just telling the world how rock solid they were. There was something about Paige and Craig’s relationship that made a lot of sense, which is obviously why it lasted for over three years. But, just like Netflix has shown us time and time again that love is not blind, Bravo has shown us that love is not enough when it comes to reality television. According to Paige, none of the rumors that had been previously pointing at a breakup were accurate, so she decided to set the record straight. Obsessing over all of the quotes from Paige’s breakup episode of Giggly Squad is the perfect way to avoid your Monday morning inbox, IMO.
What did Paige say about her breakup on The Giggly Squad?
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together.”
It’s not quite “consciously uncoupled” but it’s a pretty neutral statement.
“I know I said I would never cry on the internet but it’s okay if I cry on the pod.”
Considering Paige prides herself on being an ice queen, I was surprised to hear this.
“As you get older, I mean I started dating Craig when I was 29 and I’m 32 now. And your 30s for women really are transformative. And you change a lot and you grow a lot. And him as well.”
30 is definitely the new 20. I am curious exactly how she feels she’s changed.
“Not to sound traditional and old-fashioned but, like, this is not like a situation where like I have a 50-part series of like who the fuck was I dating. Like, could not be more opposite than that.”
Translation: Craig did not cheat.
“I have so much love and respect for Craig. I think he is one of the best people I’ve ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him. And he truly will get the best because he is the best.”
I can’t be the only one who reads breakup announcements like this and immediately asks “But why did you have to end it, then?”
“It’s just the right decision for both of us, like moving forward in our lives, and like the direction that our lives are going in that we like didn’t forsee or like whatever.”
Safe to say, her life is not moving towards Charleston, then.

“Just to say this, not that I even have to but like, in terms of people saying like rumors like ‘oh Paige was told to like wait until Southern Charm came out or like Summer House came out…no one can tell me what to do. The network has power, but they don’t have that much power. So like, that was not a real thing. Rumors of us breaking up months ago, again also not a real thing.”
TBF, this news did drop in a timely spot between the current South Charm season and Summer House’s upcoming premiere, but yeah, it could be a coincidence…
“When we did break up like obviously I didn’t run to social media and I didn’t run to the pod, like we both gave each other like a little time to deal with it on our own in private, like with our family and friends. And now I feel like it is appropriate to like be able to tell people.”
