Sadly, there’s no denying it, Bachelor Nation just isn’t what it used to be. Like, no one really cares anymore. Why would we when we have Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s love life to discuss? While the show itself is living in the meh-zone, the stuff that goes on with former contestants sometimes will pique our interest. Kaitlyn Bristowe went low-key rogue this NYE and hosted a party at her Nashville home with members of Bachelor Nation Blake Moyes and Zac Clark. Katie Maloney was also randomly there. Kk.
But here’s the gossip. As we know, Kaitlyn called off her engagement this summer with Jason Tartick (also from Bachelor Nation) and Zac is former Bachelorette Tayshia Adam’s ex. So when party footage surfaced of Katilyn with her arm around Zac, people went buck wild and assumed Kaitlyn was cheating on Jason with Zac.

Let’s be real, we all saw that there was cheating speculation on Deux Moi regarding Kaitlyn, Zac, and Jason, so it’s not like this fully came out of left field.

On New Years Day, Kaitlyn saw all the chatter online and went full Khloé Kardashian, posting cryptic quotes about the situation on her Instagram story, one of my favorite approaches of all time. It’s so mysterious! So chic. Says everything without saying anything.
Then… she derailed a bit and the mysteriousness went out the window. Kaitlyn posted three lengthy messages on her Instagram story about the cheating speculation. The lady doth protest too much? Idk, feels like a lot!
And then… she went further, commenting this on a post about the situation on a Bachelor fan account:
“Hi! Here to say that there was never an ounce of cheating happening and I will not stand for this rumor. Y’all are NASTY in here. Anywho. Swear on my dogs lives. No cheating went on. So we can just put that to rest. Thank you!! Happy new year everyone. Go donate some blood or somethin!”
Not the dogs’ lives! Listen, we love a juicy story more than the next guy, and this is one way to kick off the new year… but it feels super intense. So intense that it feels… wrong. Let’s see what 2024 brings. TTYL, Bachelor Nation. Let’s keep the drama going like it’s 2015.
