We already know we love Chrissy Teigen, but we just found another reason to love her more. She did an interview with Cosmopolitan, which by the way has “Have Sexier Sex” on the cover and honestly are the interns writing the cover lines now? Remember when we thought reading Cosmo was such an adult thing to do? Virgin bible aside, the interview with Chrissy has a few nuggets, like when she explains that early on in their relationship, John Legend tried to break up with her and she just said “nope”.
Well, in her words it was, “He was like, ‘I can’t be in a relationship right now.’ That lasted for one day. Literally, a day.” Apparently she just laughed it off and refused to let him break up with her. 10 years later, they’re still together with a baby girl, so maybe denial does have its merits (*shoots angry glare at my mother*).
According to this interview, Chrissy also gets FOMO while John’s out at after-parties and she stalks his Insta for pictures of other girls. She said “He would be tagged in photos, and I’d be like, ‘Who is that girl?'” Let that be a lesson to you all: Looking at tagged photos is a game you’ll always lose, even if you’re a literal supermodel.
So apparently the secret to a successful marriage is to refuse to let him break up with you. Chrissy also made dating a musician work, which honestly is the most impressive win of all.
