Sure, the Bridgerton universe has incredibly well-thought-out plot lines and really romantic scenarios, but let’s be real: the best part about the series is the sex. Shonda Rhimes knows how to cater to the female gaze. I don’t know if it’s the burning devotion behind the sex scenes, the multiple-episode sexual buildup the characters always seem to have, or even just the petticoats and corsets — but something about the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte sex scenes unlocks a deep trove within my libido that just doesn’t open for any other smut.
While the series is based on some very risque books, it’s not the sex alone that plays in part in making the sex scenes so damn good. There’s so much desire and forbidden love sprinkled throughout every storyline that you want the characters to get together ASAP. Maybe it’s the adrenaline junkie in me, but it’s a top-tier sex scene in my book.

In the middle of their argument, the Duke and Dutchess break down briefly and leap at each other. Simon then starts eating Daphne out (!!!) right in the middle of the staircase of her childhood home. Even though the moment is ruined pretty quickly (because they start arguing again), it’s still pretty sexy while it’s happening — sexy enough to get 5th place on a ranking of the sexiest scenes.
