After that disastrous Bachelorette finale, Devin Strader shockingly isn’t thrilled that everyone thinks he’s been an asshole to Jenn Tran. But the problem is, Devin, no one wants to watch a fucking 13-minute Instagram video that exposes hundreds of intimate texts. I need to have a word with Instagram people, because why are 13-minute videos even allowed??

What Did Devin Say About His And Jenn’s Breakup In The Video?
According to Devin, he and Jenn were on friendly terms before “After the Final Rose,” and she just dramatized their situation for TV. Wow, someone should give her an Oscar for all that sobbing if that’s really the case. He also repeatedly emphasized that he put more effort into their relationship than Jenn suggested, and only pulled away after they broke up. “I feel like no matter what I was doing and… no matter how hard I was trying, it wasn’t good enough, no matter how much effort I would put in,” he said about their relationship. “It continued to take an emotional toll on me. At that point, I really did have to make just a decision based on my own happiness.”

Devin apologized for something exactly once in this video. Should we give him a cookie? He admitted to following Maria on Instagram right after breaking up with Jenn and admitted that was wrong. “I made an emotionally charged decision,” he said in his video. “Jenn and I were in a fight at the time. I am sorry to her for that. Reflecting back on that I did make a poor decision.” Ya think?
What Did Devin Say About Marcus In His Video?
Devin explained that when he watched the show, he felt like like Jenn’s second choice. “I had to clearly watch myself play second to someone else, and that’s okay, you know, we moved on from that,” he said in the video. “I wasn’t her first choice. But again, a relationship is two people, and that’s part of growing together. You know, I don’t fault her for the feelings that she had towards Marcus, but, you know, I wasn’t informed of that even during our relationship.” He wouldn’t be my first choice either!
I actually don’t even know that this is a fair accusation for him to make, because yes, Jenn told Marcus she loved him, and he didn’t say it back right away. But he eventually did say it back, and Jenn still chose Devin… a decision that I’m sure will haunt her forever.
