Everything You Need To Know About Danielle's App (For CEOs And Founders)

Yes, season 8 of Summer House has been one of catastrophic breakups and makeups from the mess that is the show’s monogamous couples. But there’s also been a decent amount of flirty hookups that once made the show great (which Summer House desperately needs more of next season). Like, if I wanted to see angry middle-aged men get mad at their wives for existing, I’d just put on The Valley. Thankfully, we did get to see Jesse bring back a late-night lady friend to the house, and watch Danielle nearly throw her neck out thirsting after Balloon Guy, both of which were peak entertainment. But Danielle is also knee-deep in a different mystery relationship that fans are dying to know more about. She’s in love with her job, running a heretofore undisclosed app that makes Ms. Olivera a “CEO and founder” (She-EO if you’re nasty). Episode 14 finally unveils the business that puts the bravoleb in the category of #GirlBoss and honestly, we’re intrigued. All the details of Danielle Olivera’s app and business are below, if you are too.

What is Danielle Olivera’s app?

Danielle is the CEO and founder of Donne, a fashion app that is “a better version of Cher’s closet from Clueless.” She mentioned this app for the first time in season 6, back when she was going steady with Robert, so it’s certainly been “a long time coming,” as she reminisces in the May 23 episode celebrating the summer 2023 launch. Donne helps users by creating a “digital copy of their entire wardrobe” through which it recommends “countless outfit recommendations” with access to professional stylists. It also has the capability to help you purge what doesn’t work, all in one place. I imagine if you have a closet as extensive as someone like, say, RHONY fashion GOAT Jenna Lyons, this might be super useful (though she obviously doesn’t need any styling tips). For a lazy millennial such as myself, who finds myself falling into a boomer-esque love/hate relationship with my phone more and more every day, I don’t know that I’m *dying* to add in an extra digital step. But for the girls who need structure it makes a lot of sense.

Do people actually use Donne?

According to Danielle, yes! Only kidding. I do actually know one real, live Donne subscriber, who didn’t find the app through Bravo at all and finds it to be helpful. Reviewers on Reddit say while some might not find the styling suggestions to be particularly mind-blowing (a white tank top and jeans with gold earrings for summer? Groundbreaking) for those who might consider themselves “fashion-challenged” Donne could be the perfect solution. The app currently has 3.1 stars in the app store due to reports of technical difficulties but growing pains are to be expected. Plus 3.1 stars is a higher rating than I’d give Danielle’s performance on the last few seasons of Summer House so in that way, big slay.
