As every true Bravohead knows by now, Craig Conover and Paige DeSorobo called it quits on their three-year relationship. The not-so-nice news came in during the 2024 holiday break. While it was pretty obvious that’s probs not what either ex wrote on their wish list to Santa, fans have of course been speculating why the break up came now and who initiated the curtain call. Before today, everything we knew about the split came from Paige, who shared all the feels on her new reality with co-host Hannah Berner during a recent episode of The Giggly Squad. Now, after taking some time to “process” the huge update, Craig has taken to social media to let the fans know where he stands with it all. While it definitely still sounds like peace and love between the two (good work, grown-ups), Craig’s vibe is a bit different from Paige’s, if you read between the lines. Here’s Craig’s response to his breakup from Paige.

Craig started by saying he was “sorry about the delay” (there’s that southern politeness), but this has all been “very, very unexpected, to say the least.” Craig was “very shocked” for this to happen “right before the holidays” but “it’s okay” because “it takes two people to be in a relationship.” Educated guess here (especially based on recent episodes of Southern Charm): Craig’s subtly implying he was the one of the two who still wanted to be in it. Craig went on to explain that “you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it.” We appreciate emotional regulation, over here!
Naturally, Craig is still grieving the end of the “three-year relationship” with his “best friend,” though he knows he needs to start figuring out his “new normal.” Craig is hoping “gratitude” and “time” will give him the clarity he needs to fully bounce back. Even though he’s “still processing,” Craig did make it clear fans should be kind to both Paige and himself, which makes plenty of sense since they’re the only two with real skin in the game, folks. Craig ended his address by thanking everyone for “all the love” in the meantime. He plans to say more later “one day,” so I’m wishing him while he lets himself cook.
Craig Conover’s Best Breakup Advice
While touring for his podcast, Craig has shared his belief that “no one’s ever not better off after a breakup” and that “it’s just life.” Given his current situation, he’s forcing himself to take his own advice. Craig also fell back on a timeless go-to when explaining that his “faith in God” is pushing him to remember that “everything happens for a reason.” Damn, y’all, loverboy down. And I’m not talking iced tea.
