Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan are reportedly over… but is Sabrina seeing a new short king now? Even while the “Please Please Please” singer was still with the Saltburn actor, fans were starting to ship her with SNL favorite Marcello Hernandez (otherwise known as Domingo). If you’re at all online, you’re aware that in his viral Domingo sketch, Marcello sang a parody of Sabrina’s hit, “Espresso.” The actor and the singer were also photographed together at the August Variety Power of Young Hollywood event, and Marcello recently participated in one of Sabrina’s concerts too. Only in many fans’ wildest dreams, I fear. As of now, there is sadly no evidence to suggest that Sabrina and Marcello have a romantic connection. However, they did share an extremely iconic moment at Sabrina’s November 17 Short n’ Sweet concert in Los Angeles. Marcello, or Domingo rather, got to be the blondie’s (fake) crush of the night during the pre-“Juno” bit she does.
“Sabrina, I’m here,” he called out to the pop star from the crowd. He identified himself as Domingo from “Miami, baby.” Sabrina flirtatiously responded, “Miami? I wish you were from my bedroom. What are you doing later tonight?” Marcello/Domingo didn’t reveal his plans, but he did claim that he’s the “cute boy with the blue jacket and the thick accent” from Sabrina’s “Bed Chem.” He indeed sported a blue jacket for the occasion, which was chef’s kiss.
Naturally, he then performed a special Sabrina rendition of his SNL smash hit: “Came all the way/Had to explain/Direct from Domingo/Sabrina’s a friend/She’s like my sis/But I would hook up though.” Tea. The performance was so good that Sabrina was forced to “arrest” the comedian with her signature fuzzy pink handcuffs.
As if their chemistry wasn’t on display enough during that exchange, Marcello later posted a photo of him and Sabrina sitting on a couch (his hand is on her leg and her arm is wrapped around him!) — and they look gorgeous together. Mind you, that photo is pinned on his Insta, which simply has to mean something.
Marcello is circa 5’6″, so they’re perfect together height-wise, plus they’re the It Boy and It Girl of the moment and probably the two funniest people in the entertainment industry. It just makes sense. Everyone get to work manifesting a Marbrina future, please.
