Did you know that every time there’s a Love Island success story, an angel gains its wings? So, that means Love Island USA has officially granted at least one heavenly messenger the ability to fly, thanks to Hannah and Marco (the winners of season five) getting engaged for the big leagues in 2025. But who from the Love Island USA hall of fame could be next up for wedding bells?
PPG already spilled the beans that they suspect Miguel and Leah will be the first to be wed. How cute! So, I obviously had to be a little (okay, a lot) nosey when I chatted with both Miguel and Kenny about updates on a forever future with their Beyond The Villa boos, Leah and JaNa.
Did Miguel propose to Leah?
Not yet, but Miguel told me it’s a matter of when, not if. “It’s going to be a good one,” Miguel tells Betches, “but I’m not saying it’s going to happen any [specific time].” So maybe fans shouldn’t expect the season one finale to be the big day before the big day. “Listen, it happens when it happens,” Miguel continues, “but I know I’m going to propose to her. I know she’s my woman, and I’m definitely going to work hard on making sure that’s a very memorable proposal.” Okay, period, man not afraid of commitment core!
I, for one, can’t wait to see what grand romantic gesture Miguel comes up with after their dream dates in Fiji. Miguel noted the wildest culture shock of being in the US is “how different each state is. ‘Cause obviously, from England, we’re a puny little island compared to you guys,” so traveling, “it literally feels like you’re in a different country [in] some states.” So maybe he’ll pop the question somewhere breathtaking in one of the US’s fifty finest? Only time will tell!
Are Kenny and JaNa getting married?
As JaNa and her girl gang explained, forever seems to be on the table for all of them, in the future. For now, Kenny wasted no time waxing poetic about his favorite things about his GF, of which there are “a lot.”
“Her personality,” Kenny says, of the first things that come to mind. “She’s so outgoing. She has an amazing heart.” He is also “inspired” by JaNa’s work ethic.
“When it comes to what we do, she’s so hardworking. She says yes to everything. She barely spends time at home. She’s done three shows in the span of a year,” Kenny points out, speaking of Beyond The Villa, Destination X, and, ofc, Love Island. “She’s on the cover of Vogue. I mean, she’s in Vogue,” Kenny clarified (okay, manifesting!), “we did the Grammys. We did the AMAs. So, she just does everything with so much grace with a smile on her face, and it’s definitely inspiring to see.”
Kenny And Miguel Reflect On Love Island
I had to check in with these loved-up bros on what they missed most about being in the Villa full-time. Miguel got excited thinking back on “the nature and seeing some of the animals that would pop up, like the praying mantis, the birds.” He had a “fuck you” reserved for the jumping spiders (lol, relatable), but “everything else…was amazing to see,” like local children riding horses on the beach.
For Kenny, being phone-free for the first time ever was a huge plus. “In that environment, you can’t really hide from your emotions,” he says. “You have to confront people. You have to tell people what you’re feeling and wear your emotions on your sleeve. So, I miss that.”
