Basically, he chose flight school over Jenn, so it definitely wasn’t meant to be. “I had a dream of being a fighter pilot my entire life and I got a call,” he told her at the end of the episode. “Pilot training dates are happening, and they pretty much said, ‘We’re not holding these. Either you come back right away or the dream is over.'”

Aaron bluntly explained that she doesn’t hold a candle to his dreams. “I wish I was further along where I felt like, ‘As long as I have Jenn in my life, I’m happy.’ I’m just not there yet,” he said. Brutal. Of course, Jenn was super understanding about the situation. But instead of leaving on peaceful terms, Aaron chose to go the drama queen route — on his way out, he gossiped to her about the other guys there.
