Before his retirement from the NFL in 2023, Tom Brady spent 23 seasons playing professional football. If that sounds like an incredibly long time to be a professional athlete, you’re not wrong. Brady holds the record for the most NFL seasons played as a quarterback, and now is a commentator on Fox Sports. So with that much time in the public eye, we’re bound to notice some changes in Tom Brady over the years.
For a while there, it seemed like Tom Brady was keeping to a steady routine, and as a girl who hates change, I can completely relate. He played for the same NFL team — the New England Patriots — for almost the entirety of his career, from 2000 to 2019, until his move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. And it seemed like he was in it for the long haul with his 13-year marriage to supermodel Gisele Bündchen, too. But, of course we all know how that ended: with a divorced Tom Brady posting thirst traps while watching Gisele move on. At least we got some iconic jokes at The Roast of Tom Brady out of all of it.
So yeah, Tom Brady has gone through a lot over the years. Here’s a look at how Tom Brady’s face has changed, then and now.

By 2023, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were divorced, and he was retired from the NFL. But, he also produced 80 For Brady, a movie basically about just how much his fans love him, so I guess I would maybe call that a wash.

Now Tom Brady has passed the torch the next generation. But don’t worry, he’s always still in the public eye as a commentator on Fox Sports… and, of course, still posting thirst traps on Instagram.
