To no one’s surprise, Taylor Swift once again attended a Chiefs game last night to support her tight end BF (otherwise known as “the guy on the Chiefs comin’ straight home to me”), Travis Kelce. The Chiefs played the Broncos at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, and Taylor arrived looking extremely expensive in a CEO-like red and black checkered blazer and matching skirt ensemble. Her bun and knee-high black boots added to the millennial girl boss aesthetic. As usual, photographers yelled at her and tried to get photos as she walked through the stadium with her parents. When Taylor’s security intervened this time, she corrected him, and the clip is going viral. So, what exactly happened with Taylor, her security, and the photographers at the Chiefs-Broncos game? Let’s get into it.

As Taylor walked with her parents in the stadium and was surrounded by paps, her security detail yelled: “Guys stay back.” She clearly wasn’t thrilled with his tone and immediately looked back at him and said, “Stay back, please.” TBH, if photographers had been stalking me for two decades, I really don’t think I’d give a fuck how polite my security was to them, but this is always been Taylor’s style. In her evermore track, “marjorie,” she sings, “Never be so polite, you forget your power / Never wield such power, you forget to be polite.” Period.
Taylor was able to attend the game because she’s on a quick break from the Eras Tour right now. She’ll head to Toronto on November 14 to start the final leg of the record-breaking tour, which has been happening for approximately 25 years or so, I think. Travis recently supported her at her Indianapolis show and recapped the experience during an episode of his New Heights podcast. “I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up and I’ll tell you what man, the American crowds — they did not disappoint,” he told his brother and co-host, Jason Kelce. “I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with, and I’ll tell you what man that thing was rockin.’” Electric, you could say! (That’s the football star’s usual go-to descriptor.)
