Taylor Frankie Paul Called Out MomTok And Starting A Social Media War

Ruh roh, the girlies are fighting again. MomTok has seen its fair share of drama, including the infamous soft-swinging scandal, the Chippendales temper tantrum, and Whitney’s villain arc. But this time, the girls are not holding back (if they ever did), and they’ve brought their dispute online and into the public sphere.

As always, Taylor Frankie Paul is at the centre of the drama and has even instigated this argument. This feud over Instagram comments is truly the reminder we need that celebs are just like us!!! Even soda-slurping, Fruity Pebbles-flavored MomTok members are just.like.us!!! So let’s take some ketamine for *~*self-care*~* and dive into the CMA MomTok drama with Taylor Frankie Paul.

The Taylor Frankie Paul CMA MomTok Drama Explained

It all started with Taylor attending the Country Music Association Awards last week. I don’t really know why she was invited, as I don’t think she is related to country music in the slightest, but pop off, sis!!! Get yo bag!! She wore a gorgeous full-length glittery gown and looked stunning. Naturally, the influencer shared a bunch of pics on her social media about the evening.

It seems like Taylor didn’t feel like MomTok was supportive enough on social media and so she LEGIT CALLED THEM OUT. Say what you want about her, but she has audacity like I’ve never seen before. This is so Reputation (Taylor’s Version), ladies and gentlemen. Taylor posted a selfie on her Instagram Story captioned, “Not a single one of my girls from MomTok said anything on my CMA post, such a big night for me, awkward.” (Literally me when my besties don’t post extremely graphic and flirtatious comments on my thirst trap within 10 minutes.)

How did MomTok respond?

As you can imagine, the MomTok crew did not appreciate this very public call-out.

Mikayla Matthews was the first to respond. She sarcastically posted a pic of Taylor to her Stories, writing, “Wow. What a woman. I strive to be her. So incredible. She deserves the title of leader of MomTok. @TaylorFrankiePaul please don’t kick me out. So proud of you.” I feel the need to note just how Millennial the font and text block was.

Then Jessi Ngatikaura came in to disagree with Taylor’s side of the story, but in a very mindful, very demure manner. She reshared a post by a fan account claiming Jessi had reposted photos and made a story saying she was proud of Taylor and liking posts. Jessi added a short text beside it, “Thank you! Letting this drama go since I’m on vacation hahah but thanks for tuning in.” I somehow doubt Jessi has any intentions of letting this go, nor would I — “hahah.”

Jessi wasn’t done, she then went to Taylor’s CMAs post and wrote a lengthy comment which included evidence, sarcasm, and reasoning.  Note that Jessi has since shared the receipts of their messages prior to the CMAs. YIKES.

Others hopped to the comment section as well. Mayci wrote, “The love of my life 😍.” Meanwhile, Mikayla kept up the bit, and said, “Please let me stay in Momtok 🥲” and “Goals✨✨ so amazing, so proud. She is beauty and grace.”

Demi decided to keep it very classy, very Millennial, and shared a @THEGOODQUOTE post that said, “Being called sensitive for reacting to disrespect is manipulation at its finest.” I wonder how she feels…

Taylor obviously did not back down, literally people pleasers take note. She hopped back online to defend herself and said, “I ruffled feathers a little too much, but first off we are not allowed to talk about any story lines, so this is not made up by any means.” A fair clarification since many were assuming this was foreplay to season two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

“I thought it was awkward that every single one of my friends was silent,” she further clarified, before noting that she has “a lot of supportive girls in this group and I never said anyone specifically is not supportive.”

That said, Taylor reiterated feeling “off” by the silence surrounding her post, explaining “Since Demi is the most triggered by it, it’s interesting because she phone called me the other day saying I feel like you don’t really support me on social media. So, it’s weird that it matters when it comes to her but when it comes to me it shouldn’t be a bit deal, and they don’t have to bow down to me.”

The story has obviously since expired, but don’t worry, @queensofbravo has it posted on their Instagram — what a QUEEN.

Taylor also posted TikToks mocking the situation, including one where she’s eating Fruity Pebbles with the text, “If you can dish it hopefully you can take it.” IYKYK!!!

Demi lost her demure energy when she started participating in the comment section of various videos about the drama. On one creator’s video, Demi left the comment, “Taylor will tell ‘half’ truths and then use her platform that she’s built on manipulating her viewers to turn on people who aren’t as nasty and loud sorry minor detail that is very important. Continue.”

She went as far as to message Stephanie Tleiji, a creator who had been posting about the drama, writing, “I’m not going to argue with your biased opinions on Taylor” before attempting to argue with them. “Go ahead and keep her on a pedestal if you want without knowing how she is behind closed doors, I guess. I’ll admit that I’m being defensive, what’s confusing is why people are more worried about the one on defense than the offender? My intense reaction to her story post isn’t coming out of nowhere! This is obviously a boiling point and everyone including yourself is completely turning a blind eye to the hundreds of red flags right in front of your face.” Oh girlie, no, just no. Now I’m worried she’ll turn up in my DMs next.

@stephwithdadeets Demi, it’s not “blind loyalty” it’s being supportive. I support Taylor cause she does NOT HIDE who she really is. She shares the good, bad, the ugly with her followers. You werent calling us a “cult” when we supportrd Taylor and you. We are calling you out cause you are going wild in the comments. #taylorfrankiepaul #demi #momtok #slomw #secretlivesofmormonwives #momtokdrama #greenscreen ♬ original sound – Stephanie Tleiji

MomTok Social Media Drama Continues…

Were they done? Fuck no, these women are never done. The next battleground occurred in the comments section of an Instagram post. The post was on the official @secretlivesonhulu account, and featured MomTok in their pjs together, wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

Jessi wrote, “Back when times were simple 😭❤️😂” and Layla Taylor finally joined in with, “Aw when we all still liked each other ❤️.” Whitney Leavitt had spent the entirety of season one as the villain and seemed to relish being removed from that role, as she jokingly commented, “this gives me hope that momtok can actually survive this 🙏.”

Taylor sucked up to producers to avoid a bad edit and wrote, “Girls still going off. I’m just thankful for this opportunity from @secretlivesonhulu @hulu @jeffjenkinsproductions 🙏🏻 thank you.” That girlie is SMART.

Finally, Demi obviously chimed in with, “before we REALLY go to know each other 😅.” Okay, that leaves Jen Affleck as the only one who hasn’t chimed in, but I’m guessing she’s had her phone confiscated by her husband.

Can MomTok survive this?? Some laughing gas may soothe things over.
