She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she is the moment! Nikki Glaser ate down at the 2025 Golden Globes, as expected. The comedy queen flexed her renowned roasting chops, poking fun at Benny Blanco, Stanley Tucci, Timothée Chalamet, and more. Aside from one wild joke about Diddy’s “sexually charged” credit card, Nikki played it relatively safe and avoided super touchy subjects like the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni legal battle and assassin x TikTok heartthrob Luigi Mangione. She managed to have the uptight celeb audience laughing with her, and all of us watching at home were actually dying.
Hosting the Golden Globes and any award show is a famously tough gig (just ask Jo Koy, lol), so how much did Nikki get paid for it? Here’s what we know about Nikki Glaser’s 2025 Golden Globes salary and the chances of her coming back to host next year.
Nikki Glaser’s Golden Globes Salary
How Much Did Nikki Glaser Get Paid To Host The 2025 Golden Globes?
Nikki was paid just over $400,000 to host the 2025 Golden Globes, according to Deadline. However, that salary will be increased “significantly” should the comedian return to host the award show in 2026. (And I pray she does.) During a January 6 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Nikki revealed, “There was a past host who said how much he got paid in his monologue and I got less than that, but that’s OK.” She noted, “I’ll get more next year.” Classic fucking gender pay gap.
The first-time Golden Globes host shared with Howard that she feels “well-paid” for what she does and added that she would’ve done the award show for “free.” Girl, your fans would not be having that bullshit. Saving us from cringe male comedians’ dumbass jokes and roasting Hollywood bitches is a heroic job that requires a hefty, hefty fee.
Will Nikki Glaser Host The Golden Globes Again Next Year?
It’s looking good, folks. Per Deadline, Nikki will host the award show next year “notwithstanding a global calamity.” That’s what I like to hear!! And next time, she’ll reportedly “be pulling in some bigger bucks.” Thank goodness.
Zoë Rose Bryant of X said it best: “Nikki glaser reminding us why we should never have a male awards show host ever again.” Exactly. I say give Nikki the GG gig permanently and have other female comics take over all the other award shows *except* the Grammys because that one belongs to my king, Trevor Noah.
Now that Nikki’s proven herself and been invited back, I’m guessing we can expect an even more gasp-inducing, roasty performance from her next year. I’m ready!
