They’re baaaaaaaack! Neon lights, golden goblets, and delicious snacks that somehow distract us from the real drama — we’re back in the Pods. Love Is Blind Season 9 has dropped the first six episodes, and yes, you read that right: six episodes of pure chaos, with 12 in total this season. Madness? Absolutely. But we stan.
These first six episodes take us from the Pods to the sandy beaches of Baja, and along the way, we get six engagements. Spoiler alert: only five make it to the trip. Drama is already serving.
Keep reading for the full tea on which Love Is Blind couples got engaged in Season 9!
Who got engaged in Love is Blind Season 9?
Madison and Joe

Madison and Joe were one of the first couples to get engaged in the pods, and honestly? We’re obsessed with her. Madison joined Love Is Blind with a rare eye condition that could eventually cause her to go blind, and she’s been refreshingly vulnerable about it. Joe, meanwhile, was basically a simp from day one, so the proposal felt inevitable.
At the reveal, Madison was ready to “bite his little tushy” (girl, okay), while Joe looked like he had just seen a ghost. In his confessional, he admitted Madison wasn’t what he’d pictured, and later dropped the bomb that he usually goes for “skinny girls” IRL. Excuse me? Sir, you’re staring at a stunning, curvy queen; accept the Michelin-star meal in front of you and stop whining.
The two made it to Mexico (already an accomplishment this season) and started off strong. Madison opened up more about her eye condition, and Joe seemed eager to support her. But then came the infamous pool party, a.k.a. the night the men collectively lost the plot.
Madison called Joe out for constantly talking over her to chat with literally anyone else. His response? Sulking off to bed and telling her to stay with the group. When Madison later returned to their room, things only got messier. Joe was incoherent, repeatedly asking where she’d been, and when Madison gently suggested maybe he’d had too much to drink, he snapped back with: “Are you coming in hot?” Not exactly fiancé-of-the-year behavior.
While one drunken spat doesn’t mean instant doom, it’s giving foreshadowing. Especially since the wedding preview teases Joe… in his truck? Unless that’s a “knee-deep in the passenger seat” moment, we’re concerned.
Sparkle Megan and Jordan

Jordan had his work cut out for him — literally, he was competing in Love Is Blind’s first-ever love square. Yes, you read that right. Sparkle Megan (yes, that’s her official nickname) was dating three guys at once. Blake left the pods early, leaving Megan with two options: Mike (her “usual type”) and Jordan (the cute single dad with tattoos and a heart of gold). Spoiler: Jordan came in hot.
The pair connected hard, bonding over Jordan’s son Luca, who has diabetes — just like Megan’s late father. She was clearly moved by the connection and seemed genuinely eager to be part of Luca’s life, which Jordan admitted touched him deeply.
Megan eventually turned down Mike, paving the way for Jordan to pop the question. Cue the waterworks and happy tears — another pod engagement was locked in. The reveal was everything, with both of them gushing about each other and exchanging compliments about their “great behinds.” Honestly, same.
Ali and Anton

Couple name: Antonine. These two zeroed in on each other quickly and were the first to get engaged, and they were so pleased with the reveal. Anton literally said, “She’s fucking stunning!” And he’s not wrong. Ali made it clear what she expects in her man, as she even asked him to walk her back to her door—not judging.
All has been going well for the couple in Baja, unlike some of the others. However, during the teaser for the rest of the season, it appears that their contrasting lifestyles may get in the way of their happily ever after. The main issue seems to be Ali’s cleanliness oops.
Kalybriah and Edmond

We absolutely love to see two people simping unabashedly for one another, and KB and Edmund delivered just that. From the jump, Edmond was an emotional open book, sharing his difficult upbringing in foster care and his journey to forgive his parents. KB was here for it — loving how in touch he was with his feelings, which synced perfectly with her dream of working in social housing. Fate? Possibly.
After KB read him a heartfelt poem about how lucky she felt to be the first to truly choose him, Edmond got down on one knee and popped the question. KB eagerly said yes. At the reveal, KB admitted that she probably would have walked right past him in real life (it’s the print shirts), but now she’s so glad she got to know him first. Don’t judge a book by its cover, people!!!
Things were smooth sailing… until Edmond found out the other guys had already gotten laid. KB wanted to wait until marriage, but then dropped the bomb that she’s had one-night stands. Edmond’s reaction? “I’m just always the f**king nice guy.” Ouch. Will they wait until the altar? Will Edmond stop accidentally slut-shaming his fiancée? The drama is far from over.
Annie and Nick

Statistically, this couple was not supposed to happen. Annie was torn between Brendan and Nick, while Nick was busy juggling Blonde Annie and Blonde Kait. Especially messy: he straight-up told Kait he loved her. Yikes. That’s going to blow up later, and we are HERE for it. Also, Nick is now unofficially the luxury watch guy of Season 9, and we are living for it.
In the end, they chose each other, and their chemistry in the Pods was borderline NSFW. Like, someone check the water temperature of those showers. Annie turned Brendan down due to a lack of reassurance, and Brendan made a last-ditch effort to win her back, basically saying she’d regret picking Nick. Time will tell if he’s right.
At the reveal, Nick gushed: “It’s not butterflies. It’s not fireworks. I’m soaring right now. I’m on cloud 9. No, cloud 900.” Mood.
They headed to Baja and were living their best lives… and honestly, Nick deserves a medal for being one of the only men not to get obnoxious at the pool party. That’s a win. But with another blonde making a dramatic comeback, we know the drama train is far from over.
Kacie and Patrick

Another love triangle that sorted itself… sort of. Patrick was caught between Anna, who he clicked with on a deep level, and Kacie, who gave him new connection energy. Then Anna left abruptly, leaving Patrick to go all in on Kacie — and yep, he proposed.
At the reveal, the pair kissed, giggled, and looked cute AF… until the next morning. Kacie pulled Patrick aside and dropped the “I just can’t do the TV show anymore” bomb. She claimed they’d continue back home but told viewers, “He’s not a bad looking guy in any sense, but he deserves somebody that is so obsessed with him… I understand how that is about to look.” Ouch.
Plot twist: Patrick isn’t disappearing quietly. Previews show him getting a face-to-face with Anna at a mixer. Drama incoming.
