If you have *thoughts* about that “historic” all-female Blue Origin spaceflight, you’re in good company: Celebs are pissed, too. Actresses and models like Olivia Munn and Emily Ratajkowski are sharing their opinions about the trip (which was just an ad for Jeff Bezos’ company, BTW), and they also think it’s a tad wasteful and out of touch. “Anybody that’s criticizing doesn’t really understand what is happening here,” Gayle King defended herself and the other space gals. Yeahhh, we definitely don’t understand that billions of dollars went toward an ad for an evil man’s company in the name of ~girl power~. Anyways, here are the (iconic) celeb criticisms of that Blue Origin spaceflight.

I STG, you can always rely on Emily for a correct take. The day of the spaceflight, she posted a TikTok calling the trip “end time shit.” The model continued, “Like, this is beyond parody. You say that you care about Mother Earth, and it’s about Mother Earth, and you go up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that is single-handedly destroying the planet.” Where’s the lie?
“Look at the state of the world and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space,” Emily added. “For what?” I just love this diva.
Olivia Munn

Ahead of the space trip, Olivia shared her thoughts about it during an appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends. “I know this probably isn’t the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now,” she said. “What are you guys gonna do up in space? What are you doing up there?” (Well, now we know Katy Perry sang and revealed her tour set list.) The actress pointed out that most Americans “can’t even afford eggs” at the moment.
She called the celeb spaceflight “a bit gluttonous” and added, ““Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?” Yeah, I fear they didn’t do much to “help mankind” during those 11 minutes.

This queen shared our “getting off a commercial fight in 2025” Blue Origin meme! In her IG Story caption, she low-key shaded the celeb flight: “Billion dollars bought some good memes I guess.”
Amy Schumer
In her own Insta Story, Amy seemed to poke fun at the whole ordeal. “So I’m going to space and I’m so excited,” she jokingly announced in a video. “Lauren Sánchez, Katy Perry and Amanda Nguyễn have been my guiding lights through this whole journey, which I just got called to be part of this space team this morning. And I’m loving it.” The comedian quipped, “How high were the people who came up with the name for space? Were they like, ‘What should we call it? It’s got so much, like, space.’”
