Yet another Jolie-Pitt kid is now just a Jolie. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh recently spent her 18th birthday filing legal paperwork to drop “Pitt” from her last name. She apparently hired and paid her own lawyer and everything. Since Brangelina’s messy 2016 split, their six kids have been taking sides… well, mostly just one side (Angelina’s). Eight years later, the famous exes are still in a legal battle over the division of their assets and property. Not to mention, we learned new dark info about their split in 2022: Brad allegedly got physical with Angelina and the kids on a private plane one time.
The kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox — are growing up fast. The younger ones are teens and some are adults in their 20s now. Yes, we’re old. Over the years, there have been reports that Brad is estranged from many of them, which upsets him. Since Shiloh ditched his name, we’ve learned about the Bullet Train star’s reaction. Here’s how Brad feels about Shiloh legally changing her name.
Brad Pitt’s Reaction To Shiloh Changing Her Name
Does Brad Pitt Talk To His Kids?
Ummm, well three of them — Zahara, Shiloh, And Vivienne — have now dropped his last name, so something tells me they don’t talk to their father much. (Zahara introduced herself sans “Pitt” at her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction and Vivienne left out “Pitt” in her The Outsiders Broadway playbill.) Also, Maddox testified against him at a 2021 custody hearing and according to a Life & Style source, “Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Vivienne are all adamantly on Team Angie.” There ya have it. That being said, there aren’t any negative reports about Brad’s relationship with Knox yet… maybe he still speaks to one out of the six kids.
Why Did Shiloh Drop Brad Pitt’s Last Name?
Although Shiloh’s specific reasoning for ditching “Pitt” is unknown, it’s possible that her big decision has to do with the plane incident and/or related issues.
Brad Pitt’s Reaction To Shiloh Dropping His Last Name
Brad’s not thrilled. A source told People: “He’s aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name. He’s never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter.” (Mind you, Shiloh was not his first daughter — Zahara is. But details details!) The insider continued, “The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.” Well, I shall be keeping an eye out for any updates on this situation.
