Can someone please explain why it is every time I get served a SKIMS Instagram ad, I suddenly think I’m a socialite with an unlimited budget and ready to splurge on everything in my cart? There’s just something about celebrity brands that make me feel like I can also live the lifestyle of the rich and famous—it’s like they’re letting us in on a little secret to looking and feeling just like them.
