Are Kacie And Patrick Still Together? The ‘Love is Blind’ Couple Who Left Early

Every Love Is Blind season has its signature chaos, and Season 9 is no exception. You’ve got the overly aggressive dirty talkers, the guy who does a full 180 after the proposal, the couple barely holding it together until the honeymoon suite, and, of course, the duo who gets engaged only to break up five minutes later — enter Kacie McIntosh and Patrick Suzuki. They had us gasping, first at their engagement and then at their blink-and-you-miss-it breakup.

In the latest episodes, Patrick’s out here telling Anna she was always the one—sure, bestie—but what actually went down? Did Kacie and Patrick reconnect after Love Is Blind? Let’s investigate.

Did Kacie and Patrick get engaged?

Kacie zoned in on Patrick pretty quickly in the pods while he was juggling her and Anna. He felt that he shared more similarities with Anna (they even joked about the Spiderman meme, iconic) but that Kacie was such a strong match. Then Anna made things simple by legit disappearing. Byeeeeee.

With Anna out of the picture, Patrick popped the question to Kacie—and she eagerly said yes. Cue the romantic music and everyone yelling at their TVs. But once it came time for the reveal, things started to feel…off.

They walked in—Kacie in a stunning two-piece look (seriously, girlie, drop the link)—and at first, everything seemed fine. But within minutes, it went from “aww” to “All Too Well.”

Post-reveal, Kacie looked visibly uncomfortable in her confessional. Still, viewers were shook when the edit cut back to Patrick and Kacie after the reveal, because Kacie had asked to speak to him. Just hours later — not the next morning, as many mistakenly reported — the couple embraced and shared a deep kiss before Kacie dropped the bomb: She didn’t want to go to Baja.

Instead, Kacie wanted to head home. She made it clear it wasn’t a breakup —“I just can’t do the TV show anymore”— but it was enough to leave Patrick looking equal parts confused and heartbroken.

And then came the whisper. Kacie quietly told Patrick (thank you, microphones) not to trust what producers told him about the situation. That’s suspicious, that’s weird.

Here’s why: Producers had footage of Kacie saying, “He’s not a bad looking guy in any sense, but he deserves somebody that is so obsessed with him… I understand how that is about to look.” Oof.

And before we could even process what was happening, the engagement was over. Blink, and you missed it—it might just be the shortest one in Love Is Blind history.

In an interview with People, Kacie explained: “I thought the only way we’re ever going to make this really work is if we come back to Denver and date slowly at our own pace and not this rushed, get-to-the-altar-in-a-month thing.”

Translation: Kacie wasn’t ready for a reality-TV romance on fast-forward. And honestly? Same.

Are Kacie and Patrick still together?

Short answer: nope.

Long answer: In the latest episodes, Patrick showed up to the couples mixer solo, which raised some eyebrows. Patrick claimed Kacie didn’t want to meet up, kept blowing him off, and basically dumped him.

Patrick said when they reunited, it wasn’t one-on-one —it was in front of other cast members. He wanted private time, but Kacie apparently didn’t.

In a recent episode of The Viall Files, Patrick explained he values “resilience” in partners and viewed Kacie’s decision to leave the show as a “turn-off.” Fun fact: he said the exact same thing about Anna leaving in a conversation with Swooon, as his reason for going all-in on her. This man really loves resilience, huh?

Now for Kacie’s side of the story, as she followed Patrick’s moment on The Viall Files.

Nick asked why she didn’t just end it there and instead claimed she wanted to continue. “That’s how I felt at the time,” she shared. “I do regret how I went out that way. It was gaslighting, it was leading him on.”

But they disagree on what happened next. Kacie disputes Patrick’s claim that he reached out first, saying she contacted him that Friday, and he immediately wanted to meet up. She asked for a few more days to process, but allegedly, he wasn’t having it. Later, after hearing what Patrick said to Anna and watching the episodes, Kacie says she feels like his second choice.

“I did not ghost him,” Kacie insisted. “Love isn’t blind —attraction matters more to me than I thought.”

I have no doubt these two will battle it out at the reunion!
