Once again, the young actress turned feminist icon has surprised us all by going for a non-celeb, yes, one of us regular folk. In light of Emma promenading her new courtship, I figured it was time to take a page out of her very academic book and thoroughly explore her dating history. Given that she rose to fame at a young age as Hermione Granger — it’s leviosa, not levios-ah— there’s plenty to sniff about. Tom Felton
The pair obviously met on the set of Harry Potter, the film series that catapulted them both into the public eye. Emma was ten and Tom was thirteen at the time, so here’s hoping things waited until the scarier movies to develop. Rumors swirled about the young actors even then, but there has never been an explicitly confirmed relationship.
In November 2019, Tom about his former costar to Daily Mail, and said, “She’s an incredibly smart and lovely young lady.”
Rupert Grint, who played her on-screen friend-to-lover Ron, admitted that he thought there were always sparks between them. “There was always something,” he told ET during an interview. “There was a little bit of a spark. But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance. I didn’t have any sparks. I was spark-free.

I can’t explain it, but this is the name of a character that would be played by Timothee Chalamet. So Angus was not a buff rugby player, but a creative drama student. Switching sides!! We’re in 2008 now, and the internet lost its shit when Emma and Francis were photographed cozying up at a Cartier polo party in 2008. He was having rich shenanigans on Made in Chelsea, and she was still a Harry Potter girlie. When speaking about the short romance, Francis told The Sun, “We had a bit of a thing a while back.”

To solve the matter of distance, Emma’s next beau was allegedly a fellow Brown University student. Emma and the Spanish musician were rumored to be dating in November 2009 after they were spotted packing on the PDA at a hockey game in NYC. They dated for about six months before saying adieu.

Allegedly, allegedly, allegedly!! Emma and George supposedly met while they were both shooting an ad campaign for Burberry in 2010. Yeah, remember when she was in ALL their ad campaigns? Better times… The pair later attended Glastonbury together, and everyone realized they were probably more than friends. Especially when Emma starred in his band’s music video for their song “Say You Don’t Want It.” (HOT). No clue when or why they ended, but soon after, he was dating fellow singer Diana Vickers.
