It’s safe to say we all need a vacation after season 6 of Love Is Blind. Netflix just put us through 13 episodes of gaslighters, white lies, fuckboys, cheaters, and honestly every other red flag you could imagine. Not to mention, the Chelsea and Megan Fox dialogue has completely drained me. (I do see the resemblance, but would obviously never say that to a m*n on the other side of a wall.) Of course, the intense drama mostly stemmed from the trash men. The majority of the women (*cough* Sarah Ann) are angels.
The emotional journey with this year’s pod squad led us to an interesting top three couples: Chelsea and Jimmy, AD and Clay, and Amy and Johnny. Now, was I really rooting for any of them to get married? I can’t say that I was. However, the ending is not quite as bad as it could’ve been. If you didn’t want to endure episode 13, that’s a valid wellness decision, and I completely understand. Here’s who got married from Love Is Blind season 6.
Chelsea And Jimmy Did Not Get Married
We can all breathe a sigh of relief: Jimmy and Chelsea did not tie the knot. After their cutesy amusement park date, Jimmy decided to take her on a real rollercoaster — the emotional kind. “I love you to death, and I want a relationship with you, and I want us to work so bad… but I don’t want to go to the altar,” he said. Ope. Jimmy wasn’t cool with her not believing she loved him just two weeks prior, and he also wasn’t happy about Chelsea exposing his past hookup with a friend. Fortunately, the Megan Fox comparison didn’t come up during this convo.
Clay Broke Up With AD At The Altar
The way I never trusted Clay for .5 seconds. AD, my queen, you had the right instinct at the beginning of the process: Ditch the fuckboy. Unfortunately, AD is way too kind and gave Clay the benefit of the doubt. She even helped him work through a lot of his issues and heard him out when he said was scared to cheat on her. PLZ. They made it all the way to the altar, and in front of their family and friends, Clay said: “AD, I love you. I don’t think it’s responsible for me to say ‘I do.’ But I want you to know that I’m rockin’ with you… I still need work.” I actually screamed. But thank goodness she dodged a bullet.
Amy And Johnny Got Married And Saved The Season
No birth control, no problem! Despite their fascinating intimacy issues, Amy and Johnny officially won the season and became the only couple to both make it to the altar and get married. (Do they get some kind of reward from the producers?) I’m thrilled for this ginger and model. Their families seem to mesh super well, and I think they’re gonna live happily ever after and have little Amy and Johnny juniors.
