Summer House is officially back, and I have high hopes for this next chapter of the extremely high-quality Bravo series. We’re about to get an in-depth look at the unraveling of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s engagement, growing tension between Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, and more. In season 8, there are also two new guys who join the Southampton house to get involved in hopefully history-making drama: Jesse Solomon and West Wilson.
A self-proclaimed “Bravo virgin,” West is entirely unfamiliar with the network, but he still seems to fit in perfectly. Apparently in this season, he “quickly focuses his attention on a fellow housemate” despite not being good at relationships. Hmmm. The new Summer House star is from Columbia, Missouri. I definitely know where that is. He lived in Montana for four years before moving to New York City and preparing to grace the Hamptons with his playboy presence.
Well… he was a sports journalist. But he got laid off during a mass staff change and is “on the hunt for the next opportunity.” Anyone out there looking for someone to write about Taylor Swift’s boyfriend? If not, I wish him the best of luck with reality TV fame and influencing. (He’s almost at 10k followers now!)

I already named plenty, but not to fear: There are more. His “biggest hurdle” when it comes to dating is “being able to commit.” If I had a nickel for every time I heard that from a man, I’d probably be able to buy the Southampton house myself. He also has, like, the most pointed frat accent I’ve ever heard, which is another ick. Not to mention, there’s a half-Mohawk hairstyle situation going on, which might as well be a literal red flag.
